Rose was decked out in her party wear, all her best assets out, and ready to let loose. I knew Rose well as a party girl but in all our years of being friends we had never been to a party together.
"I just want you to drink so much that you forget your name", Rose begins to say, " That would be ideal. If we are going to party together for the first time, we are going to go hard."
"I'm not just going to get trashed. You know how scared I am of drinking."
"We will be there. There is nothing to worry about", Sienna tried to reassure me. I wanted to feel reassured but I just didn't want to take the risk. I wanted to drink and I wanted to let lose but in reality I felt like I needed to have control over everything I was.
"I guess we will just have to see what happened", I said before going silent. I was letting Rose and Sienna hold all the conversation, while I just listened. I was surprised but happy at how close the two of them I had gotten because of me. You always wanted to have your two best friends become best friends so that you all could spend time together and be best friends forever. In this very moment, I really didn't feel like I fit in with them. I knew I did, I knew that they wanted me around but with all that had been going on with Harry and Niall I was feeling rather introspective. I had a lot on my mind and even when I felt like I had mentally gone through everything, there was a new scenario coming to mind.
When we pulled down the street near our school both sides of the road were filled with other cars leading to the house. Girls and boys were all lining the streets walking in the direction of one house. We drove past the house and it was huge, over flowing with endless amounts of people each and everyone of them smiling. The image was just like that out of a movie, it made me excited to go in. Everyone wanted to go to a college party that was straight out of a movie an if this was my chance I needed to take advantage of it.
We found a parking spot down the road and Rose began to fix her outfit and touch up her make up, making sure it was all perfect.
"Daisy, this is going to be a night to remember. I can feel it in my bones", Rose said taking me in for a little hug as we walked up the walkway of the house and opened the doors. Walking in it was the image of a movie inside, people were lined on the stairs making out and people were in the kitchen endlessly drinking. There was even some nobody DJ playing music in the living room that a large group of people were dancing to, all of them grinding on each other.
"Rose", a man shouted out to her as we walked into the kitchen, he was smiling ear to ear and so was she as they embraced. Sienna poured me a shot and I threw it back like I was a drinking pro but the liquor burned the back of my throat and had a disgusted taste that lingered in your mouth for a while.
"Guys this is Liam", Rose said and we all shook hands with Liam as we introduced ourselves. He stayed near with one hand always placed on Rose's hip. I hadn't heard about this guy before but she seemed to be very interested in him, she kept looking at him even when he wasn't looking at her. He had tattoos all over his hands and arms but a soft and sweet face, he didn't seem like someone who would be covered in tattoos. Rose began to poor another shot.
"Daisy? You are niall's girlfriend right? Him and I really close", Liam said and I shook my head picking up one of the shots that Rose had poured and threw it back, immediately picking up the next one and slamming it to. I could see Rose grinning at me and Sienna smiling a little too, more worried looking though. I knew that as soon as Niall was mentioned once he would be mentioned again and again for the rest of the night and it wasn't worth hearing up.
"Ex girlfriend", I told Liam and he made a face that said he knew he shouldn't have brought it up. I moved around to the fridge and picked up a can of beer before opening it and beginning to drink it. I hated the taste of beer, I hated the taste of the shots I was taking too but I just wanted to forget about it all.

Three hours and 5 more shots later, Sienna and I were on the dance floor. Rose and Liam were no were to be seen but at this point I didn't have a single care in the world. The music was good, I had the most warm feeling in the pit of my stomach, and in all honesty I was happy. The liquor had made me feel free and weightless, I liked it. Sienna and I had danced with a few boys but had mostly been dancing with each other. We had taken small breaks as she made me drink a little water in an effort to pace me but I had no intentions of stopping.
"Hey pretty lady", a boy said to me as I walked into the kitchen. He had short messy brown hair and bright blue eyes. He followed me to the fridge watching my every move and moving his eyes all along my body. He was cute, he had a plain white t-shirt on, and tight black skinny jeans. He grabbed himself a drink from the fridge, sipping on it.
"What is someone like you doing here all by yourself?", he asked putting his arm in front of me stopping me from walking away.
"Someone like me?", I said and he smiled.
"A really pretty girl in an innocent dress", he said and I began to push through his arm and walk away, "Wait."
I stopped and looked into his blue eyes. I rolled my eyes but stopped and waited for him to say something.
"My name is Nate. I've been watching you all night, think you're really pretty", he said placing his hand then on my shoulder, I moved it away from me. He was being nice now and I wasn't uncomfortable with what he was doing. I just didn't want to get into it. I didn't want to be so interested in a boy especially in this state. I looked around the room for Sienna and I spotted her on the dance floor with a guy, I wished she was here to pick me out of the situation but I didn't want to pull her away.
"Thank you. I'm Daisy", I introduced myself. I didn't know what else to say. Nate's obvious flirting was odd and I didn't know how to react. I was pretty drunk at this point but I didn't want to seem like it so I was trying to act cool. I'm sure he could tell that I was faking it.
"I've never seen you around one of these parties before."
"This is not my scene. I'm not a party girl at all."
"But you're clearly drunk", he pointed out and the two of us began to laugh. After that joke, the ice was broken and the two of us began to talk and laugh together easily. He kept trying to hold hands with me as we talked about ourselves and what we were going to school for but I avoided each of his displays of affection. He was easy to talk to and I liked that I could just talk with him with out much pressure. He also seemed to be really interested in everything I had to say, keeping great contact and occasionally looking down at my lips.
He looked away from me for a moment before doing a head not to one of his friends near the door.
"Niall, hey. Look what the cat dragged in", he shouted and my heart sank. I looked right over to where Sienna was and the two of us immediately locked eyes as the name "Niall" escaped from Nate's lips. I began to walk away from Nate but he grabbed my hand, Niall was walking over to where Nate was and all I wanted to do was escape.
"What's wrong? Why are you leaving?", Nate asked but I broke free from his grip and quickly started to walk towards the door. I locked eyes with Niall and I saw him look shocked to see me here of all places. Once I got out of the house and felt the cold air hit my skin I began to cry. He looked good and I hated that most. He looked better than he had in a long time and he seemed happy. I wanted to see him in a worse state than this, crying over all that he had lost with me and beating himself up over it but clearly he wasn't.
I pulled my phone from one of the pockets in the jean jacket and called the only person who I knew cared enough to answer at this hour.
Harry.
