So, we headed and found a good, safe place to make camp. "Should we be cautious of attacks tonight or try to stay warm?" She asked.

"Try to stay warm. I'll go get some wood and start a fire. I have a knife if someone tries anything." I said. "How are you going to get the wood?" She asked.

"Ever heard of trees?" I asked. She rolled her eyes. "Lily- stay with Levy, I can handle this job on my own." I said, walking to the woods.

I got the knife ready in my hand in case someone were to attack. It was a pretty cool knife, a big one so it could do damage. It wasn't some stupid pocket knife.

So, I got a bunch of twigs and then began the walk back towards camp. Starting a fire was a struggle since I didn't know how.

"Do you need help?" Levy asked. I huffed. "I'll take that as a yes. You need to rub smaller and faster." She said, putting her hands on top of mine. "HOW do you know how to do this?!" I asked.

"I've had my share of girl scouts!" She said. I laughed. "I thought all girl scouts did was be annoying and sell cookies." I said. "Mostly, yeah. We went camping once and our instructor made us just cook the whole time. We took ONE hike. So yeah, it was pretty stupid." She said.

We got the fire started! Yay! "Now, we probably need to check your head wound..." I said. "Oh, yeah, forgot about that." She said.

"Okay..." I slowly took the shirt off of her head. "Oh. Still pretty bad." I said. "Duh, I got cut by glass, what'd you expect?" She asked. I huffed, not sure what to do about her obviously open wound.

"Do you know anything about healing?" I asked. "No. That's ONE thing girlscouts didn't teach." She said. I laughed. "You got all your knowledge from girl scouts?" I asked. "Pretty much." She laughed.

"I don't know what to do about this..." I muttered. "It's okay. It doesn't hurt THAT bad, so I'll be fine." She said. "You're loosing a lot of blood, though." I argued. "If we apply pressure it won't be so bad. Right?" She asked.

"Yeah. At least we know the basics. I'm tying it around again, accept this time on the clean side and tighter to hopefully make it stop bleeding." I said. "Okay." Levy said. She let me, though I knew it HAD to hurt.

"Okay. Phew! We're done!" I said. "Yay!" She said. "Now that you're done with that, we need to find a way to keep the fire going all night." Lily said. "I know how! If one of us wakes up cold, start it!" I suggested.

"You don't know HOW to start a fire!" Levy argued. "Plus, I'm a cat. I could catch in on my fur." Lily argued. "Then, if you were to be the one to realize it's out, get one of us up to start it up." I said.

"Alright." He said. "Well, that's day one of the apocalypse down." Levy said. "Yeah." I agreed. "That means another day that we're alive!" She said.

"Right. Keep thinking positively when we run out of food." I said. "Well, we need to sample it. I'll open one can right now for all of us. We split it. I only have three cans, and we need to salvage for supplies in other cities. So, we're going to have to make it last because we don't know when we will FIND another city, or if we DO, if it has supplies or has already been raided." Levy said. "Jeez, you're complicated." I said.

"Well, it's true." She said. We ate some of the food, then sat back. "Now what?" I asked. "If you'll excuse me, I have a book I can be reading." Levy said. "Of course you brought a book with you..." I said.

"The most IMPORTANT book of all." She said. "Is it the death book?" I asked. She glared at me. "I'm not sorry..." I said.

"Whatever, but no, it's the Word. The Bible!" She said. "Oh, okay." I said. "He will help us along this journey. He'll make sure we're safe. We just have to make sure to thank Him for every day that we get to see the sky. Every night that we get to see the moon. For every single breath we are taking!" She said.
