Levy

I tried to get ahold of myself. We were about to leave for Thorta, and I was terrified. I was about to create the boat, but I didn't know how long I could hold on.

Lily was on my shoulder, supporting me, along with Lucy. Gajeel was standing beside me, not really saying anything.

"Okay, we're ready when you are, Levy." Erza said. I took a deep breath. "Solid Script Magic! Big boat!" I said. A big rowboat appeared in the water, big enough for all of us and our supplies. We piled in. Natsu decided to be the one to row.

I took deep breaths, concentrating on the boat and only the boat, on making the boat stay intact. I closed my eyes to fully concentrate.

The rest of the world drowned out, my concentration was strong. After what seemed like 2 hours, though I was probably exaggerating, it began to get hard. My muscles started straining, my body began feeling feverish and sweaty, like I had just run a marathon on a really hot day and was about to get sick.

I think Jellal ended up rowing because Natsu was too slow trying to calm his own motion sickness. I tried to concentrate harder.

"Halfway there." A voice whispered beside me. I smiled. It was Gajeel.

I almost lost focus, but regained it fast and strong. I let out a grunt. Now it was getting tough. I felt Lily climb down into my lap. I was getting hot. This was hard.

I tried to concentrate. If my concentration broke fully, we were doomed. It kept wavering, but never went away.

I felt someone rubbing my back, but I couldn't tell who it was. Now my breathing was even heavy. I felt like I could collapse any second, but I knew I couldn't let that happen. I had to manage to keep concentration, and keep awake for everyone.

After what seemed like eternity, Lucy said, "We're about thirty minutes away. You can do this." She said. "URGH!" I said,  my head now pounding along with everything else in my body accept worse.

Finally, as I thought I couldn't make it, I felt everything stop, but I didn't dare open my eyes. "We're on the shore. It's okay now." Erza said. "Are we off the boat?" I asked, still concentrating.

"Some of us are, some of us aren't." Erza said simply. "But don't worry, you're on sand, it's not going to hurt if you quit now." Jellal said.

I opened my eyes, getting blinded by the sun and letting all of my muscles relax. I fell backwards onto a warm body. "I've got you. Just relax. It's okay." Gajeel said.

The boat disappeared, leaving us on the ground. "Levy, are you okay?" Lucy asked, kneeling down to my level.

I felt everything start to disappear. "Wendy, we need you!" Lucy said. "On it!" I heard Wendy say right before all of my senses cut off, and I blacked out.

I started waking up. I felt warmth first. My muscles didn't hurt as much as they did before. Then I realized I felt blankets. I opened my eyes to see that we were in a room. Or at least, I was.

"Where are we..?" I asked. "We got a hotel." A gruff voice answered. I looked to my right to see Gajeel sitting in a chair beside the bed.

"How?! Everything's in ruins!" I argued. "Remember, the bomb hit on the island. It didn't hit here." He said. "Oh..." I said. "What happened? Ya know, after I...?" I asked.

Gajeel

"I'll fix her." Wendy said confidently. Levy's head had gone limp on my chest, so I assumed she had passed out. We waited a few minutes in silence while Wendy worked her magic (literally).

"Okay, now she won't hurt, but she's going to exhausted no matter what I do. That was a long ride to have to concentrate like that." Wendy said.

"Yes, I would be exhausted as well." Erza said. Suddenly, some people walked up to us. "How did you get here?" They asked.

"Long story." Erza said. "You're wizards, aren't you?" They asked. "Indeed." Erza said. "Did you come from that island that was bombed?" The man asked.

"You mean Wolf's Ridge? Then yes, we were." Erza said. "We own a hotel.. How about we give each of you a room?" He asked. "Thank you kind sir, but we do not need rooms. We can find a way." Erza said.

"No, please. Our hotel's never that crowded, anyway." He said. "What is your name?" Erza asked. "I'm Bob, and this is my wife, Susan." He said. "Well, thank you, we owe you." I said. "No. Consider it as a gift. Now, follow us, and we'll take you to the hotel."

So, they took us to the hotel, me carrying Levy. It was called Busan's Inn. Bob and Susan... Clever...? So, they gave us each a room with a room key. When they got to me and Levy, they hesitated.

"Are you sharing a room or..?" He asked. "No, just give me the key to her room, I'll stay with her." I said. "Okay... Why is she like that, if I may ask?" Bob asked.

We briefly explained our journey. "Oh... I see. Well, here's your room keys." He said, handing me two room keys. I went to the room closest (fifth floor. Nice view!) and took Levy into it, putting her down on the bed and pulling up a chair.

So, yeah, that's what happened. I also explained that to Levy when she woke up.

Levy

"Oh... Well, thanks I guess." I said. He huffed. "Do you feel like getting up or staying down?" He asked. "I think I'll stay down a bit. How long have I been out?" I asked. "A few hours. It's after lunch. Want me to go get us some food?" He asked.

"Sure!" I said. "But wait. Before you go..." I said. "What?" He asked. "What's the plan?" I asked. "We'll find Poison, punch him in the face, and throw him onto Wolf Ridge to be killed by gasses and flooding." He said.

"Sounds good." I laughed, him STILL wanting to go through with the punching in the face part.

*Author's Note*

Hey, guys! That was kind of a bridge chapter, describing their journey to Thorta. My friend, Alysse, or @foxlover5 on Instagram and Twitter helped me with the names Bob and Wolf Ridge. I know, Bob, a creative name! I know a guy named Bob irl who is a former senator!

Anyways, thank you guys for reading, if you liked it, let me know by either voting or commenting, and I'll see you in the next one!
