Liam is sitting in his chair, taking a sip of his beer. Mackenzie occupied with other kids as he watches her. Javier watching him.

"She's not going to run away or disappear. She has three hundred people watching her," Javier grins. "You can go see her," looking at him then nodding to Sloane, poking at the ice in her drink with the straw.

"Why would I wanna do that?"

"Because I know your dumb ass. I guarantee that you have every memory playing over and over in your head. That and you want her out of that dress," Javier smirks.

Liam smiles taking another sip of his beer. Mackenzie running around with other little kids.

"Dude, you haven't seen her since she lost the baby. At least go say something to her."

"I hate when you're right," Liam sighs, setting his beer down on the table and standing up. He walks over to the table, hands in his pockets. A few people stop him and say hi to him as he makes his way. Mackenzie runs by and hugs his legs before running off again in just her bare feet. He finally gets to the table, Sloane not even conversing with the three other girls.

           "Hey Sloane," he smiles.

"Hey," she greets quietly. The girls at the same time glaring at Sloane. "It was a nice wedding."

"Yeah," he nods, sitting down beside her. "How are you?"

          "I'm alright thanks. Yourself?"

           "I'm good. You look good."

Sloane looks up from her drink, "yeah, you do too," she nods, her eyes run down his arms, then back up his torso.

"What have you been up to?"

Sloane raises an eyebrow at him, "You know, this and that."

Liam feels the other girls looking at them, listening to their conversation as he turns in his chair and looks at them. "Um, can we have some privacy?"

The three sets of eyes look at him and then glare at Sloane. Sloane and Liam's eyes meet again.

"That was interesting," he smiles. "What?" Liam laughs.

"Why did you come over here?"

"To check on you, see how you're doing. I haven't talked or seen you in a year and a half."

"I know I remember," her voice almost breaking.

"You okay?" sliding his hand on hers that is on the table.

"You never called me back," she pulls her hand away slowly.

"Called you back?" he looks at her confused.

"I called you every day for weeks."

"I wasn't risking it," he swallows hard.

           "But you're risking it now?"

"Because I hope you're still not with that asshole."

"I haven't been with him for a year and a half."

"I'm sorry. I was thinking of Mackenzie."

           "I know."

"Well, what about now? You seeing anyone?"

           "No, you?"
