I Choose You

Chapter 74: Rekindle

          "How was the reunion?" Javier smiles, Liam sitting down beside him.

          "It was good."

          "Yeah. I can see it all over your face," Javier grins.

          "Shut up."

          Javier's new wife, Mandy, walks over. "Who did you hook up with?"

          "I told you."

          "I didn't hook up with anybody," Liam laughs.

          "That lipstick all over your face says otherwise," Mandy smirks.

           Liam wiping his mouth and the lipstick smudges off.

          "Who was it?" Mandy asks.

          "Who do you think?" Liam smirks.

          Mandy sighs, "please don't tell me it was Sarah. That girl hooks up at every wedding."

          "Oh my god Mandy," Liam laughs. "It's Sloane."

          "Seriously? I thought you were done with her."

           "Someone invited her," he gives her a look.

          "Uh huh, my fault."

          "I think I'm gonna head out," Liam says patting Javier's leg. "I'm gonna take the dozing flower girl home," he smiles. Mackenzie getting tired.

          "Mhm. How do you end up with the second and third most beautiful girls at my wedding?" Javier grins.

          "I'm that good," Liam winks. "Go make a baby Javi" patting his shoulder and grabbing Mackenzie and then heading towards Sloane. "You ready?" he asks her.

          "I'm gonna put her to bed, help yourself with anything," he smiles, walking to her room. A few minutes later he comes back out, "she is out. Too much partying for that girl," Liam smiles, walking to the kitchen.

          "I'm sure," Sloane smiles, sitting on the island, taking a sip of her water.

          "God I've missed you," he smiles, leaning against the counter on the other side of her.

          "You've only seen me for five hours."

          "So."

          "So?" Sloane smiles.

          "I'm gonna get out of these clothes. I'll be back," Liam says, walking past her.

         "Can I borrow a shirt?" she asks softly.

          "Well come on," he smiles, opening the door.

          Sloane hops down, following him to his bedroom. "Unzip me?" she asks turning around.

           Smiling, he grabs the zipper pulling it down exposing her back. He leans over and kisses the back of her neck. He moves over to the bed, clothing shedding from them both before sliding in Liam's bed, both nude. He grabs the comforter, pulling it up to cover himself.

          "Mm having a kid has changed you," Sloane smiles, mumbling against his jaw.

           Liam laughs. "I mean there's a good possibility she could walk right in. So, I would like to make sure my daughter doesn't see my ass," Liam winks, kissing her deeply.

          "Well, I'm sure she's the only one who hasn't seen your ass."

           Liam smiles kissing her softly, the moonlight bouncing off their skin—their bodies moving in sync.
