The next evening, Liam goes out to a quiet bar on the beach. The Atlantic ocean is shimmering from the sunset. He's looking around, noticing a silhouette out to the shoreline and sand. Smiling, he gets up and grabs his beer before walking through the sand.

"Hey twenty-one," he yells, seeing Sloane, wearing a strapless sundress that ends just above her knees.

"We have to stop meeting like this," she shakes her head, but with a small smile. Sloane stands in the sand by the water, the waves coming up and hitting her feet every so often.

"I mean Miami is a pretty big place, and we just keep on running into each other," Liam shrugs, taking a sip of his beer.

"You know, you aren't supposed to bring these onto the beach," Sloane winks, grabbing the bottle in his hand and taking a sip.

"I like to live on the edge," Liam winks.

"Good to know," she nods, walking down the beach again.

"I know you're into me," Liam smirks, following her.

          "What?" Sloane laughs.

"You check me out every time you see me. Just like earlier, I saw you looking at me. Trust me I know," Liam smiles. "And I bet that night we had sex was the best night you've had in your life in a while?"

"What makes you think you know anything about me?"

"Because I've been with girls like you. Your dad owns that building, doesn't he? That company?"

"Enough about me," she shakes her head. "You don't think I see you looking at me? Sending your friend in to see what I'm about?" Sloane crosses her arms.

"I'll admit it. I do look at you. Javier went in on his own."

"Mhm," Sloane laughs, seeing him eye her up and down. "Stop it," she hits his arm.

"I know you enjoyed the other night," Liam says once again.

          "You don't know that."

"Okay," Liam nods, pressing on. "You stayed."

          "What?"

"Normally, girls don't stay if they're not interested after sex. Well, at least in my experience. You spent the night," Liam says, stepping closer.

"It was nine in the morning. I hadn't slept all night, and I was pretty intoxicated," Sloane says quietly.

"Hey, I'm not gonna argue with you. You tell your boyfriend?"

          "Tell him what?"

          "That you slept with me?"

"Why would I? We aren't together."

          "Okay," Liam laughs.

          "What? It doesn't matter."

"It doesn't because you'll come back," Liam smiles, leaning down and kissing her softly.

"I told you to stop thinking you know me..." Sloane says, looking up at him.

"Stop thinking you know me," Liam says sternly, turning around to walk away.

          "Hey," Sloane smirks.

          "Yes?" Liam turns back around.

"There's a boat shed about five minutes up here."

Liam runs his eyes up and down Sloane as he follows her to the boat shed. They both step in, it still being a little light out, the shed not having any electricity. Sloane turns and leans against the workbench in the shed, looking at Liam. He shuts the door, walking over to her before sliding one hand on her neck and the other on her thigh—he leans down and kisses her deeply. He feels Sloane kiss him back, gripping his shirt before lifting her on the workbench, looking at Liam.
