"Are you ready?" Dad's voice echoed from downstairs.

"Give me a second" I yelled in order to be heard and turned my eyes back to my reflection.

The wedding dress clung to my torso enhancing the curve of my breasts and the corset-like material made my waist look think before the tule took over puffing out.

The layers of white tule obscured the cast on my leg completely for which I was grateful.

My make up was minimal, barely there but my hair was in an intricate updo, with loose curls framing my small face.

There was a knock on the door and a second later Emily stuck her head inside. "We really need to go. Fitz is gonna kill us if we're late".

I nodded and tried not to laugh at the purle sac that substituted for a bridesmaid's dress. Both her and Hanna had to wear them since everything was so last minute and we couldn't find anything better.

"I know what you're thinking, you know"Em said and took my hand helping me down the stairs.

"Just because the dress looks like crap doesn't mean you do too. You could literally pull off a potato sac".

"Shut up, you're just saying that. Nevertheless the fact no one's gonna be looking at me today is comforting. You look stunning"

I blushed and mumbled my thanks. Truth was I couldn't believe I had agreed to this.

"Finally-wow!" Dad whistled and I rolled my eyes.

"You pronised me not to make a scene"

He held his hands up sheepishly and went on to open the door for me. "This is surreal I can't not comment on it Aria. You look beautiful. That guy is lucky" he laughed and I elbowed him as I passed the threshold.

"Hey uncalled for" he laughed again and started the car after helping me in.

Em sat at the front, while Spencer and Hanna who had been waiting for us outside, squeezed in the back with me trying not to ruin the dress.

The ride there was bumpy and awkward. Dad kept making jokes about the situation which only made me more nervous.

"We're here" dad announced as if it wasn't obvious enough and we all got out of the car readjusting our dresses. Spencer had lucked out. She was in her normal clothes clutching a camera.

"Film the whole thing will ya? It's not everyday your little girl gets married" he laughed again and I slammed the door heading to the general direction of the auditorium.

"Hey wait up" Hanna took my elbow and helped me with the train.

"You look fabulous even if this dress is hideous" I gave her a look which she ignored. "Fitz is gonna soil his pants"

I rolled my eyes and let her lead me into the building. "He won't even care".

Spencer, who had apparently caught our exchange, scoffed. "Hell yeah he will, you look amazing"

"I just want to get the whole thing over with" I mumbled and tried to not thing really hard about my imminent doom, which was everyone staring at me"

"You'll be fine. You don't even have to say anything but stand there and look pretty". Em encouraged me as we entered the auditorium.

People were already filling in, scripts in hand waiting for the wedding scene rehearsal to start.

"Hey wifey" Jeremy called out and I rolled my eyes at him and his ridiculously tight suit.

"Hey Jeremy, don't you look all... tight" I mocked and it was his turn to roll his eyes at me.

"It's my little brothers prom suit. Kitty wouldn't let me wear the actual thing for the rehearsal."

"Speaking of which how is she?" I asked him and he escorted me to the place where the chapel was supposed to be.

"She's still pretty sick but the doctor says she'll be back on her feet and healthy as a horse by the time we put on the play".

"I hope so. I can't believe I had to fill in for her in the first place".

No I wasn't getting married. Actually no one was. The play we were putting on for A.P. English was an original which included a wedding scene and since Kitty, who played the main character was down with mono, I had to fill in for her as Ezra's assistant.

Ezra.

I scanned the room but he was no where to be found. Things were still off between us. He hadn't gotten around to explaining what exactly was the deal with the whole married thing which was completely ironic granting the fact I was about to 'get married'.

"Well Kitty is grateful to you and I'm guessing so is Fitz" Jeremy said and at that exact moment Ezra stormed in the auditorium with hundreds of papers in hand.

"Okay class sorry I'm late the traffic was horrible-" his gaze fell on me then making him stumble and drop all his papers.

It was like the first day all over again. Everyone was staring to and fro at us until Spencer cleared her throat and knelt down, helping Ezra gather the papers.

Meanwhile he was still staring at me until Spencer hissed something at him that sounded a lot like "Pull yourself together".

I was tomato red by that point and Jeremy had to help me sit to a chair.

"Right" Ezra said again sitting down and avoiding looking at me. "If everyone is here, we might as well start. Places everybody."

In this scene the main characters were supposed to be exchanging vows and after the minister pronounced them husband and wife, a late comer screams "stop" and it escalates from there.

Hanna and Em who were paying the two bridesmaids and had no lines whatsoever posotioned themselves behind me after helping me get back up.

The rest of the people who were playing the audience took their seats and after everyone was finally quiet Ezra said "Start".

Jeremy took my hands and it was really interesting how fast the easy going smile that was so characteristic of my classmate was wiped clean off his face, replaced by adoration. He was good.

He easily resisted his lines and I awkwardly read Kitty's, feeling Ezras eyes boring holes on me the whole time until the guy who was playing the minister said "And now I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Jeremy leaned down, since I was much much shorter and pressed his lips on mine with a hunger only a newly married guy would kiss his wife.

I closed my eyes and tried not to dwel so much on the fact I was kissing someone who wasn't Ezra in a long long time.

I marveled at actors' abilities to do this kind of thing and even more on a daily basis without getting attached.

Meanwhile Jeremy was still kissing me and I was about to scream when I felt his tongue on my lips, but apparently I wasn't the only one not liking this because next thing I knew Ezra was up from his chair and yelling "STOP THIS RIGHT NOW".
