Church of Talto was never a pleasant place for me.

It's not just because of what had happened to me in here before -but there's something else that always seems to make my feet felt heavy to step into the huge, old building.

Maybe it's something about the wooden door that creaked almost too loudly when I open the door. Maybe it's the chilling sensation as I looked around the dark, empty seats around me. Maybe it's the cold unwanted feelings that I got as my ear could caught nothing but the silence.

Or maybe, it's because the fact that this place is a demon lair.

I couldn't choose.

No window, no cross. Only empty seats, and candles, and altar, and stone discs, and darkness.

My eyes kept darting around to see if there's any demons watching me. My soundless rune made my footsteps was as silence as the room. But I could hear my own breathing, my heart was beating so fast.

I stood in front of the altar, my eyes wandering around the room, searching on every dark corner, every side where the light don't shine. But I saw...
Nothing.

Looking back at the altar, my eyes suddenly caught something near my feet. I reached down and took the items from the ground;
a red rose and a piece of paper.

The unwanted gift some people are willing to die for,
Though you want to burry me six feet underground; I will keep on standing in my ground.

You're like a rose;
Beautiful -a precious thing everyone wanted.
But just as a rose;
Shall the one who get near you got hurt by your thorns.

Sweet dreams, my little Morgenstern,
I hope you could sleep well tonight.

What does that even mean?

A very small sound came upon my ears. But the fact that I once been here before made me alert faster than I should've have.

I looked up and saw the creatures that once held my gaze at the same spot. They stood in line with their hand on the balcony railing, looking down at me from the darkness. I still couldn't figure if they're male or female.

As the silence grew more tensed, my heart beat even faster than it was already is. The rotten smell came upon my nostrils and it almost felt like all the things that happened in here a few months back was just happen yesterday.

The same scenario happened.
I ran.

Alec

I walked down the hallway. It felt so cold tonight. I didn't even know why, but I felt something odd in the back of my mine, it almost felt like something wrong was going on.

I guess I'm just being paranoid.

Things been so tough lately for me. Thinking about Clary, and Clary, and Clary, and I just couldn't stop. It's so hard living in the same building with her, I could barely even look into her eyes anymore.

Over these past few days, Jace and Isabelle both came up with the same opinion that I became much grumpier and more easily to get irritated.
Even I won't admit it out loud, I think they're right.
