Katy: good morning baby. I love you.

Katy: I can't believe that we had our first kids 16 years ago. John. Their 16. They are going to be in high school.

John: I know. I can't believe it either. Honey they are going to be driving. I can't wait to show them their cars.

Katy: neither can I. They are going to love their cars.

John: I know.

Lainey: Mom. Their up. Let's go sing happy birthday.

Maya: Mom what did you get them for their birthdays?

Katy: a car

Sawyer: Is there coffee left?

Katy: yeah. How are you feeling? You healing ok?

Sawyer: ya. I'm getting there. I'll be ok.

Katy: good I'm glad. Here's you guys breakfast.

Kinzey: it smells so good.

Katy: happy birthday love.

Kinzey: thank you Mama.

John Jr: Mom thank you for making us breakfast

Katy: you're welcome bud. Happy birthday

John: do you guys wanna see your presents?

Kinzey: umm yeah!

John: k. Come here.

Kinzey: those are ours?! What one is mine.

Katy: The Audi. John yours is the Lexus.

Kinzey: thank you so much Mama and Dad. I love it. I love you guys

Katy: you're welcome. I love too love

John: you're welcome. I love you too

John Jr: thank you Mom and Dad. I love it.

John: you're welcome son

*later that day*

Maya: it's not fair that Kinzey and John got cars. Look how nice those are

Lainey: really Maya. Why do you always have to be like this.

Sawyer: Lainey wanna go swimming?

Lainey: umm yeah. Let me go change then we will go.

Sawyer: k. I'll change too.

*i am really excited about the 12 year time jump. There will be times where I do flashbacks and you will see why Maya acts the way she does, how the kids did growing up. Things like that. Let me know if you like the jump. I've been waiting a long time to do this and I was just waiting till I knew I was sure it's what I wanted to do and it happened where I wanted it too.
