*13 weeks later. Katy is now 16 weeks pregnant*
Katy: John we have to go. I'm gonna be late for my check up.
John: baby everything will be ok. Hopefully we don't have twins again.
Katy: I know. But if we did we would love them unconditionally.
John: I know.
*at the appointment*
Katy: what's wrong?
Nurse: I'll go get the doctor.
Doctor: let's see your baby. Do you want to know the sex?
Katy: yes. John do you wanna know.
John: yes.
Katy: what's wrong.
Doctor: I'm sorry. There isn't a heartbeat.
*at home*
Kinzey: Mom. What's wrong.
John: kids sit. Umm. You guys your mom is gonna need sometime along for a little while. We lost the baby.
Kinzey: *goes over to Katy and hugs her while her mom is crying* Mama. Come here. It will be ok. I love you.
