Maddie's Pov:
I was so ready to leave this horrid place, Justin's been gone for the past three day's and even though he's been up here everyday I still felt so alone.

Carin and Scooter tried to keep me company but for some reason I felt so distance. It felt like they were walking around on pins and needles to keep me content, when in actuality it made me feel like a burden.
-
"Come on sweetie, you need to eat something" Carin encouraged pushing the tray full of disgusting hospital food closer.

"I'm sorry, I'm just not hungry" I sighed pushing it back and crossing my arms.

"Are you sure-" She started but a soft knock on the door stopped her. In walked a doctor I hadn't seen before, she was wearing a dress which seemed to be unheard of but it was a nice change from the normal scrubs I'd been so used to seeing everywhere.

"Good morning my names Dr. Joan and I'll be taking over from here" She explained erasing Dr. Elise's name from the whiteboard and replacing it with hers.
"How are you feeling?" She asked turning back towards the three of us.

"Ok I guess" I shrugged.

"Just ok-" She said with a smirk,"-because were thinking of releasing you today"

"Seriously?!" I perked up almost immediately.

"Yep, we're just gonna need to make a few follow up appointments and then we can start to discharge you. We can do that now if you'd like" She said turning to Carin.
The two walked out of the room as Scooter and I started to pack up all my belongings that had accumulation over the past week and a half.

"Excited?" Scooter asked as if it wasn't obvious. I nodded my head violently, as I discretely slid on a pair of jeans under my hospital gown.

Scooter got the hint and stepped out so I could finish getting dressed. I limped around the room searching for a shirt but the only thing I had was one of Justin's branded tee's that I slept in most nights.

Since it was the only thing I had, I didn't really have a choice. I tore off the hospital gown and slid on Justin's shirt, I paused as it hit my face taking a deep breath of Justin's scent covering the shirt.

A few minutes later Carin and Scooter walked in with some papers that I needed to sign, and then I would be free to go.

"Thank you so much for everything ya'll have done" Carin said hugging a few of the nurses she had gotten acquainted with. Scooter carried my bag as Carin helped me down to the lobby.
I was still really sore, but I was to excited about going home I didn't even care. When we got down paparazzi was still crowding the entrance.

"What are they still doing here?!" Scooter shouted catching a few others attention.

"Calm down, we'll just go around back"

"Emmm- I don't know" I groaned in pain. Scooter let out a long sigh and walked in front of us as we made our way out. I was so confused why they were here, it's not like Justin was with us.

"Get out of the way!" Scooter screamed at a few as they held out their camera's. Carin held my waist tightly as she helped me to the car. I held my hand over my face as the flashes blinded me until I slid into the backseat.
I fell face first into the leather seats as the flashes continued to flood the car. Scooter's expression reminded me a lot of Justin's, and the way he speed out of the parking lot exactly how Justin would.
Once we got onto the highway and started the drive to the house I used Carin's phone to call Justin and let him know that I was out.
