I covered my ears at the screech Chloe released from her lungs. When I told Chloe about English, I didn't think she would scream so loud, Louis could probably hear her from Nate's living quarters.
We were in science and I told Chloe about the kiss. I'm still thinking through that moment.
As I read, I tried to prepare myself. Just a kiss. Nothing else. He's my master. I can do that. One kiss...
"Then move not, while my prayer's effect I'll take."
Nate looked down at me and stared at me intensely. Will he go through with the kiss?
"Mr. Greene! We don't have all day!", Ms. Winter shouted.
Nate begins moving his eyes rapidly, from my cheek to my lips. I tilted my head in confusion. Did Nate want me to kiss his cheek or lips? I nodded my head unsurely??
As Nate slowly descended down to me, I thought he was leaning down so I could kiss him on the cheek. But as he got closer in proximity, I felt my heart begin to race and my stomach churn. What's happening to me?
I angled my head to kiss his cheek when suddenly I felt his soft lips against my own. Sparks ignited through my body and felt my knees buckle. This wasn't my first kiss, but this was by far the best one I've ever had.
He pulled away and looked for my reaction. I kept a blank face on but on the inside I was a mess. We kissed again and the bell rang. People rushed out, staring at us.
Soon it was just Nate and I. I needed to think. I went to collect my things and leave, but Nate stops me. He asked is we were alright. To be honest, I don't know. I felt like this changes things. I have him a kiss on the cheek and said,"You kiss by the book" before confessing my mistake in his silent message.
