"Oh my gosh! Do it again! Again!" Chloe squealed like a child, clapping her hands playfully.

I rolled my eyes while Kayla snorted at her enthusiasm, but let out a little smile. She enjoyed seeing my magic just as much as Chloe.

It's been a few weeks since we told everyone our secret and it's been quiet. That made me worried. Destiny had been missing from school since our confrontation. I knew Marissa was involved with her, but I doubted that Destiny agreed to work for Marissa. Destiny's psychotic and dark side may had lured Marissa to take her. Unless Marissa had a job for Destiny, she wouldn't show her face.

We had all been cautious, always walking in pairs and hiding our marks. Nate also always carried my lamp in his bag, keeping it by his side. I had even seen him to take it to the restroom. While it was disturbing, I thought it was kind of sweet he was being very protective over my lamp.

While we waited for Marissa to strike, I was entertaining the girls with some magic. We were in my bedroom for the time being, while the boys were doing who knows what.

"Chloe, Clarissa has done the same butterfly trick ten times already. Let her do something else." Kayla exasperated. Chloe pouted at that but nodded. I giggled at her put out expression.

"Alright, let me show you something else. Watch carefully."

I grab the glass of water that was on the nightstand and placed it on the carpet. We were all huddled in a circle in the floor, so I placed it in the center. I sat in my spot and put my hand out. I gracefully move my fingers in a 'come here' gesture.

Soon, the water slowly rose up from the cup.

The girls gasped and I smiled. I lifted my hand up to make a circle above our heads. The water obeyed my command and a circle forms.

"It's beautiful." Kayla murmured. Chloe just stared in awe.

"That's not the best part yet." I sang.

Keeping one hand in the air, I used my other hand to pull some water out of the circle. I bend the water to my will and the water formed into a goldfish. I let go of the water, letting the fish move on its own. The fish began to swim around our heads and did little twirls. It went to Kayla's face gently pressing its head against her nose before swimming away. It moved towards the center and popped, the water going back into the cup. I released the rest of the water to go back as well.

The girls clapped at the performance.

"That was extraordinary," Chloe looked in awe at the glass of water.

I smiled at her. Her excitement was contagious. I was happy to finally share this part of myself with them.

"So...tomorrow is Friday." Chloe announced.

"Way to go. You know what day it is." Kayla snorted.

Chloe ignored her and continued.

"Riley Peters is hosting a party tomorrow night and I think we should go. Doesn't that sound exciting?!"
