"Man, get that whipped look off your face." Zach teased during our study hall.
I can't help the goofy smile on my face. The girl I had been crushing on for three months was going to the prom with me and kissed me. Fuck my lame excuse to bring her as protection against a sorceress - it's a date.
Clarissa and Nate. Nate and Clarissa.
Those names sounded so good together.
What a sap I'd become.
"Well you are going to have to deal with it because it's not coming off anytime soon," I said giddily. I leaned back in my chair. "Your turn boys."
Zach smirked while Tyler scowled.
"Don't worry, I'm working on it." Zach stated.
"Kayla is being difficult. So far we're acquaintances- but nothing else. If it weren't for that girl on my goddamn lap." Tyler growled.
We snickered at him. Good luck with that. I adjusted the bag on my lap, making sure the prized object in my possession was still okay. After Marissa showed up at the party, I wasn't taking any chances. While there were a few times I left it with Louis in case I needed to throw off Destiny or Marissa.
"Anyway, in order for me to get Chloe to say yes, I need some help." Zach said with a gleam in his eye.

"You want me to what?" I asked in confusion, tilting my head at Nate.
"Please. For Zach and Chloe. I think all the magic has inspired Zach to make his own 'illusion'. It's pretty ironic since he despises cheesy magic tricks. But I need you to do this for Zach and Chloe. Please?" Nate asked with puppy eyes.
"It should count as a wish." I muttered.
"Think of it as a favor." Nate said with a smirk.
"You can't keep skipping your way from using your wishes. That's cheating. Soon your wishes will be granted and that's it. You may even make one unintentionally." I reasoned.
