Emma's POV

I woke up alone on the couch and to what sounded like Gray and Ethan arguing in E's room. I was not in the mood to deal with this...

I sat up rubbing my eyes and grabbed my blanket, I could honestly just go back to sleep. I walked into my room, just in time to hear my phone vibrating. I was getting a call from Madeline, which was okay but I was a little off still because of the whole ring situation so I was avoiding her until now.

E: Hello?

M: Hey! How are you, I feel like I haven't really heard from you since the other night.

E: Oh yeah, sorry I've been busy trying to get things ready for the baby...

M: Oh... alright. Well I was wondering if you wanted to go grab some breakfast, theres something I really need to talk to you about.

I was nervous to what she had to say, what if it has something to do with the ring... I dreaded it but agreed to go.

E: Yeah that sounds fine, ill meet you at your apartment in like an hour? Is that alright?

M: That's perfect! See you then.

Great, I would have rather of just slept all day. I don't need anymore drama in my life, and if this had something to do with the ring, I knew that it was all it was going to be....

After I had gotten a shower I went to get dressed, I was finally getting the chance to wear my floral dress.

I dried my hair and pulled it into a ponytail and skipped makeup, I wasn't really a big fan of wasting my time on it. I walked out of my room and towards the door, I could still hear Ethan and Grayson talking but I didn't want to interrupt them. Gray would text me soon anyways...

I left the apartment and headed to Madeline's.

Grayson's POV

Ethan wouldn't admit to it but I knew he was up to something. "Ethan, why was she here? How did you even meet her?"

"She thought I was you okay!? She thought I was you, and I thought she was just someone I had forgot meeting, that morning I went to the gym she was there and we ended up hooking up." He was sitting on his computer avoiding eye contact with me. "She didn't realize I wasn't you until after, and then I got pissed all day because I knew what I knew and I felt bad for Emma. That's why I yelled at her, and then I felt bad for leaving Madeline and asked her out, and you know what Gray, I actually really like her, I'm not trying to mess with you and Emma!"

"Then why the hell would you bring her here to 'meet' us!?" I was so frustrated with him, I get that he might like her, but there is no need to introduce her to Emma right now.

I could tell E was also getting frustrated, he stood up from the chair, "She wanted to apologize to Emma, I guess they are friends or something!"

"Emma and Madeline know each other?!" I started to panic, Emma doesn't really have any friends, there's no way they know each other...

"yes."

"How do you know that?"

"She recognized the Jeep, I guess her and Emma went to get frozen yogurt or something one night." Ethan explained.

I was done arguing with him, oh well if he tries to mess with us, I know that Emma and I can stay together through anything. I shouldn't have even stressed about it in the first place.

Maybe it would just be best if I told her myself what was going on.

I walked out of Ethan's room to the living room expecting to find Emma, but to my surprise she wasn't there. I checked her room, still unable to find her and decided to text her.

Great, she was with Madeline, who was probably telling her everything. I just hope we can get past this, once again.

Emma's POV

Grayson had texted me saying he wanted to be the one to tell me, what I think is about Madeline. I still wasn't sure and Madeline still hasn't said much about what was so important.

We ordered our food, which was then followed by a awkward silence until I decided to speak up. "So what did you have to tell me?"

She was a little caught off guard, "oh uh- I-I –uh, I need to apologize..."

"For?"

"Okay I'm pretty sure you know already why, and if you don't I'm scared you are going to freak out... just know that, I had no clue I was doing what I did..." I could see her shaking, I knew exactly what she was about to say, and I honestly felt bad that se was so scared, it wasn't her fault.

"It's okay Madeline," I figured I would give her the benefit of the doubt and believe that she truly didn't know Grayson had a pregnant girlfriend that he was cheating on. "I know you slept with Grayson..."

"Emma, I am so so so so so sorry!! I honestly had no clue, and I really like you! You are really awesome and I don't want to lose you as a friend! You don't understand how bad I feel, I mean you're pregnant with his ba-" I cut her off before she could keep rambling on.

"Madeline, stop, its okay. I forgive you! You didn't know, I can't blame you for Grayson's mistake. You shouldn't even have to be sorry." She was crying which made me feel for her, she was truly sorry about everything, and it wasn't even her problem to be sorry about. "Listen, I forgave him, and we are doing okay now. Our daughter is going to have two happy parents that are together and that's all I care about... I have already move passed what has happened."

She didn't respond with words, instead she came over giving me a huge hug and crying onto my shoulder. She was already such a great friend, I mean considering she slept with my boyfriend...
