Emma's POV

Kade has been living with us for about a month now. He has been doing better with Grayson, him and Ethan have become very close friends, and he has been doing well in school.

Sure its only been a month, but Kade has been surprising me already and its great.

I am now officially 8 months pregnant, which means I now have a good chance of early labor so I have to be careful. Just more excuses to nap more!

Grayson and I were getting ready to go to lunch with Zoey, Jaxon and Kade. We were going to discuss the plan for Kade.

I decided to wear leggings with a cute grey and white sweat I had bought. Lately I've been getting cold so frequently its ridiculous.

"Grayson will you go see if Kade is ready yet?"

"Grayson will you go see if Kade is ready yet?"

Gray got up out of bed but Kade ran into our room before he could get anywhere. "Gray, Emma! Can I please skip this lunch? A couple people from school are going down to the beach and then there is like a small get together tonight at someone's house." He talked super fast, obviously really excited.

"a small get together?" Grayson questioned.

"Yeah like a couple people, nothing crazy..." he drug out the sentence trying to play it off.

I walked out from the bathroom, "Kade," I tilted my head, "How big is the party, and where is it?" We had gotten good at the whole parenting thing, we trusted Kade, but we knew when he was down playing things. Usually I played bad cop while Gray played good cop, he's always been a push over.

"Well I'm not sure how big, but I will give you guys the address and I promise I will behave myself!" He begged.

"Gray its up to you, I don't really care." I went back into the bathroom to put my earrings on, but continued listening to them.

"Grayson, please! You can even turn the tracker on my cell phone." We had put a tracking app on Kade's phone just as an emergency thing, but told him we wouldn't use it unless we had to.

I could hear Grayson's grunting, "Fine, but you need to send me the address as soon as you get it, and call us if you need a ride okay?"

"Yes! Thank you guys!" I could hear his footsteps as he sprinted back to his room.

Grayson walked into the bathroom wrapping his arms around me, and laying his head on my shoulder from behind. "You sure you don't care?"

"I just don't want to hear him pout for the rest of the night," I let a small giggle out. Kade is good at listening to our decisions, but will give us the cold shoulder if he's upset.

"Well he's almost 18 I think its alright for him to go out." Grayson was right, when isn't he lately... Kade needed these type of experiences, he's still a kid.
