Cargo Shorts

As we entered the gate to the driveway, Magnus came shuffling out in cargo shorts and his shirtless figure.

"What are you wearing?" I asked getting out of the car.

"Well cat's out of the bag. I like cargo shorts."

"Bags are terrible places to put cats." Alec mumbled as he let Cas out of his seat.

"So one more time, why are you wearing those hideous shorts?" I asked as I tugged at them and their many pockets.

"Careful, they'll fall off." Magnus winked.

"I wouldn't mind." Alec said kissing his fiancé.

"Aw!" I gushed jumping on Alec's back. The two of them were still kissing while I was on top his back.

"Hey baby." Mag said as he gave me a kiss.

"Okay for that surprise." Alec said as he led us into the kitchen. Griffin carried Cas into a room which was now covered in blue plastic conceiling the door.

"What's going on?" I asked setting my things down.

"Surprise!" Magnus shouted as he moved the plastic away. I shoved my hands over my face. The perfect play room for children emerged.

There were teepees, bean bags, a tv, educational stuff and the rockwall was on the other side of the wall.

"Omg!" I gushed as I actually cried. It was perfect.

"How?" I asked as I admired the room.

"Alec called and we had everything delivered." Magnus explained.

"Is this for me?" Cas asked as Griffin let him down.

"Yes it is bud. Go play!" I said as I bent down to his level. He went hog wild in the room. Griffin was smiling at his young son.

"Um thanks." He mumbled as he came and stood within a radius of me.

"Guess I'm not that much of a step monster huh?" I joked. He let out a mini smile before walking away.

"Okay we did some other things. We did the backyard and the bedroom as well as the living room." Mag announced. I was so happy.

"I'm in love with you." I said kissing him repeatedly.

This was one of the reasons I was in love with this man and I think I'll always be in love with this man. He is my rock, my sunshine and all of my stars and the most amazing part of this all is that there's another. I have another man who is my rock, my sunshine and all of my stars.

I changed into shorts and shirt of magnus' and went to make dinner.

"What to make?" I pondered tapping my finger tip to my lip.

"How about fish and caprese salad?" a voice asked. I turned around to see my Parabatai.

"Hey izz! What's up?" I asked my best friend.

"The institute is getting so busy.

I turned away to grab some food from the packages and when I turned around Izzy shoved a camera in my face.

"Where did you get that?" I asked the camera waving my knife in the air.

"Wow there baby put that down." She said as she set the camera on a tripod on the counter.
