Still Wanna Drive?

The next morning I woke up bright and early with a text from Chloe. I texted her the address and told her to meet me in a couple of hours.

"Mag wake up." I mumbled into his ear as I sprawled onto his chest. He didn't move a bit even when I poked his face.

"Maggy." I whined as I set my face onto his chest and looked up at him. I could tell he was awake. His breathing pattern increased as I sat on him. I couldn't lye flat because of my stomach so I sat up and strattled him.

"Magnus baby wake up!" I whined like a baby as I shook his hips. He opened one eye.

"You sleep like a bull." I told him as I lied down next to him.

"Humph." He said as he cuddled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around his sleeping form and ran my fingers down his back.

"Go back to sleep. I'm gonna get dressed." I whispered as I moved from his side. I knocked on the door that connected our room with Teddy's before opening it.

"Your awake?" I asked confusedly. He never wakes up before me.

"Well yeah. I took a dip in the pool." He said with a smile.

"Now you wake up early, take dips in pool and smile like your in a Nicholas Sparks movie? Who's the girl?" I asked. He rolled his eyes and got up to hug me.

"Oh mom there's no one. I'm just having a good day." He said as he embraced me in a hug and kissed my head.

"Your freaking me out Teddy." I said slowly.

"Your paranoid mommy. I'm gonna grab a cup of coffee after I get dressed. Do you and Magnus want one?" he asked as he threw on a long sleeved shirt.

"Um we're good. Be safe and be back by 9 okay? We're gonna meet Trix and Chloe at 9:30."

"Okay mom. Love you!" Teddy said as he kissed my cheek and grabbed his wallet.

"Love you too." I said as I retreated back into my room. Magnus was still asleep but his phone was ringing.

"Hello?" I answered without even looking at the caller ID.

"Hey babe." Alec answered. I put him on speaker before picking out an outfit.

"Hi my love. How's the mission?" I asked. I picked out a deep Balmain Cape like mini dress with sparkly Jimmy Choo shoes and a necklace.

"Too long. I miss you too." He grumbled. I heard Jace laughing in the background.

"Tell jace don't choke." I told him. I heard him kicking Jace and him groaning.

"Taken care of. What are you guys up too?" he asked.

"I'm getting ready to go to tea with Trixie and her mom. Teddy's coming with me but I think Mag is going to visit Lucifer or something."

"Ah the devil and the high warlock of New York slumming it around Los Angeles. Is that safe?"

"For them or the people of Los Angeles?" I asked with a laugh.

"Both?" he laughed.

"They'll be good. Hopefully." I told him.

We talked for a while before I realized we needed to leave.

"I gotta go babe, but I love you okay? Call back in like an hour if you wanna talk to Mag." I told him as I grabbed my clutch.

"Okay babe. I love you too. Be safe and Tell Teddy and Trixie I said hi."

"Will do. Bye babe!" I ended and gave Mag a hug before meeting Teddy in the lobby. He had a pair of keys in his hands.

"Where'd you get those?" I asked him.

"Uncle Luci dropped them off when I grabbed some coffee. They're to a rolls Royce."

"omg and your driving?" I asked. He shook his head.

"You can drive back." I corrected him as I grabbed the keys. He grumbled before getting in the passengers.

"Hey mom, can I-"

"Nope." I told him.

"You don't even know what I was going to say!" he exclaimed.

"You cannot get a rolls Royce. Your dad literally just bought you a brand new Audi."

He glared a little before going on his phone.

"Loser." I coughed. He glared at me before texting.

I pulled into the hotel as the valet took my keys.

"Reservation for Nightsbane" I told the waitress.

"Ah yes your other participants are already here." She said as she showed us into the tea room.

"Hey guys." I said as he approached the table. They both looked up and smiled at me. Trixie was in her princess dress and Chloe was in a skirt and a blouse.

"Hi Vale!" Trix said as we sat down.

"Hey trix. Hey chloe."

"Hi Vale." Chloe said as I sat down.

"What looks good?"

Halfway through our tea Trixie finally decided to try her tea. She kept saying it was too hot and it was burning her tongue so she kept it for the last second. Literally right after she took a big sip, it burned her mouth and she spit up her tea all over Teddy's shirt. Right after she spit it up she knocked her tea on his pants. He screamed and stood up and ripped off his shirt because it was too hot. He was about to do the same with his pants before I stopped him.

"Keep your pants on!" I scolded in between laughs. He got up and ran toward the bathroom.

Chloe looked mortified while Trix was laughing.

"I'll be right back." I told the two of them. I ran to the mens bathroom and knocked.

"Teddy are you okay?" I asked. I opened the door a little and Teddy was there drying off his clothes and his pants were around his ankles. His chest and thighs were covered in red blotches from the hot tea.

"Could you get me another pair of clothes mom?" he asked with a painful facial expression.

"Of course babe. Give me a second." I told him as I blew him a kiss and ran toward the lobby. Well hobbled.

I found a little shop in the lobby. The variety was very limited but I managed to find a pair of blue lobster shorts and a button down. I snagged them and ran back to the bathroom. I knocked again before opening it. Teddy was running wet napkins down his torso. I handed him the clothes and a bottle of Aleve.

"Meet you back at the table?" he said awkwardly. I smiled and nodded.

When I got back to the table I grabbed Teddy's shirt and put it on the table.

"Valentina I'm so sorry." Chloe tried to apologize.

"Really Chloe it's fine. I found him some clothes. He'll be fine." I reassured her.

"Please at least let me pay for them." She said as she reached for the shirt. She saw the designer label and her eyes popped out.

"Chloe it's completely fine. Tea is really quite a boring activity though. How about we just head to the beach if you're not busy of course." I told her as I finished my tea.

"That's perfect. There's a perfect spot I take Trixie too in Malibu." She explained.

"Yeah text me the address." I told her on the way out. She smiled awkwardly at teddy who gave her a quick nod.

"Change of plans. We're gonna get changed and meet at the beach." I informed teddy.

"Can't wait." He said as we walked into the front of the lobby. The valet brought the car around and I retrieved the keys.

"Still wanna drive?"
