Tomorrow Night

"How the hell." The trainer said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"What did you eat before you came here Luke?" he asked.

"What didn't I eat. We ate our way through the city."

"Seriously? You lost 5 pounds!" the trainer shouted.

Next he weighed Teddy and yelled again.

"Valentina!" he shouted for me. I came next to him and stood next to him.

"You need to feed these boys more." He told me.

"I'm feeding 5 men everyday not including all of their friends. I literally spend thousands of dollars a week feeding them." I told the coach.

"Well you need to feed them more. Actually you could gain some weight too for carrying triplets." He told me. I sighed.

"We'll head to the grocery store after this." I told him. He nodded and walked off.

"Hey Mom do you think we could do a barbeque after practice tomorrow? Coach is willing to move it up."

"At our house?" I asked.

"Yeah." He told me. I nodded.

"Tomorrow after practice at my house guys!" Teddy shouted. People hollered began to talk amongst themselves.

We ended up going to the grocery store to grab everything we needed and damn it was a lot. I was running toward the register when I felt luke rush over to me.

"Look!" he shouted as he pushed a newspaper into my face. In the local news, they were doing an article about the elite team competing at the Olympics qualifying.

"Oh boys!" I gushed as I pulled them into a hug.

"Your mentioned in here too." Teddy said. He pointed out that when I was fifteen I tried to qualify for the women's gymnastics team for great Britain.

"Ha." I laughed.

We headed home after that and the boys actually cleaned up all of their stuff from the backyard. They brought out all of the things and everything while I worked out the information for all of the traveling arrangements. All of the team were staying in a hotel close to the stadium so I just arranged for a car. I washed all of their uniforms and got their stuff packed for practice and the plane.

"Teddy!" I shouted.

"Yeah!" he shouted back.

"Where are all of your jackets, training pants, shorts? Where is everything you use for swimming?" I asked.

"I lost it." He told me.

"What do you mean you lost it?" I asked him.

"I lost it! I've got to get some more before practice tomorrow." He told me.

"You have practice first thing in the morning!" I complained. He shrugged.

"We're going to the nike store right now!" I yelled at him.

Right when we were leaving the house Alec came in.

"What's up?" he asked. I hugged him and stole his jacket.

"Teddy lost all of his swim equipment and they have a morning practice and then the flight to qualifying is in like a couple of days and we're having a bbq tomorrow and omg." I spit out. He helped me through some breathing control before having me sit down.

"Magnus will be here in 10. Set your cute little butt down and let him take himself. I'm going to run to that little restaurant in the square." He told me before pushing the boys out the door. I wrapped his jacket around myself and made myself comfy on the couch while I turned on a tv show.

Magnus came in a second later and changed into shorts before cuddling with me on the couch. Alec came in with food as the three of us sat around the couch. I ended up falling asleep with my head in alec's lap and my feet in Magnus'.

"Mom" Teddy whispered as he poked my face. I opened my eyes as I slapped his hand away.

"What?" I asked him as I sat up.

He pushed a backpack into my lap and told me to open it.

"What?" I asked. I rubbed my eyes and noticed the bag was a giant bag that had USA on it. I opened it up and found 3 team USA jackets, some shirts, pants and a hat.

"I'm sorry for losing my swim gear so I got you some stuff. I also got some things for mag and alec." He said as he handed them some bags.

"Thanks." They mumbled.

"Now go to bed. I can smell the mcdonalds on you so I know you ate. We're leaving at 7 so be ready." I told them as I kissed their heads and headed to bed myself.

The next morning I was prepared as hell. I got dressed in some nice and tight black leggings with a white team USA tank and the team USA wind runner Teddy got me.

"You ready?" I yelled throughout the house.

"Coming" Luke shouted. He was in his warm up pants with his club t shirt.

"I'm already in the garage" Teddy shouted. I drove the Cadillac to the aquatics stadium.

When practice started everyone was giving 100 % and I was so proud. Alec and Magnus started cooking as well as Izzy who came to help. I was on the sidelines cheering on the boys and getting everything ready for tomorrow because im a team mom and thatʻs what I do.

"Boys line up for competition uniforms." Coach Mark said. I helped hand out their uniforms and jackets.

"I got you one too." He told me. He handed me a white polo with the clubs name on it and the flag. I also got a jacket with Lightsbane on it.

"Thanks Coach."

All of the 8 boys piled into my car to head home. They were getting ready to start the BBQ while I was on my laptop finishing everything. I arranged for transportation from the tarmat to the training site because we had to check in and join into the opening day.

"Damn" Alec mumbled as he sat next to me on the lounger. I booked some sprinters for tomorrow and curled into my husband.

"Your coming tomorrow right?" I asked him.
