Sibling Bonding Time

I changed into a black jump suit with white vans and a striped coat. Everyone was in the living room waiting for me because I took a nice shower.

"Hey V, can we bake a cake after dinner?" Luke asked. I pondered the thought before nodding.

"Of course sweetie." I told him.

We all jumped into our cars and went to Hard Rock Café because the boys wanted burgers and loud music.

As we sat down Rhett asked for all of our attention.

"I have a question to ask Alec." He announced. We all turned our attention toward him.

"Yes?" Alec replied.

"Will you teach me to snowboard? You're so good." He asked. Alec laughed.

"Vale taught me to snowboard over 16 years ago." He laughed out. I smiled and striked a pose.

"What do you want to learn to ski for?" I asked.

"I want to compete in competitions." Rhett explained. I smiled and nodded.

"We'll teach you." I told him. He jumped up and down and then we returned to our meal.

"Shadowhunters who teach snowboarding?" Magnus asked. I smiled.

"I'm a good teacher." I bragged.

"Yes you are." Alec chuckled.

The boys went and got all of their ingredients for their cake that they were baking. I was instructing them based on what they told me they wanted to make.

"Less flour on each other more into the bowl." I scolded.

"He started it!" one of the guys complained.

When the cake was actually cooled and ready to be decorated I covered each in fondant and set out their ingrediants.

"Gentleman, you are competing in a competition for the bragging rights of best cake decorator as well as the exemption from running in a speedo tomorrow morning down the slopes at the ski lodge. I bet you didn't know that you losers were doing that ah? So put your best effort in and you have an hour. Any cheaters of any kind will be forced to do the run naked!" I announced.

"Your time starts now!" I shouted.

I watched all of them squirm to finish their little master pieces. I took photos of their idiocracy and watched tv as I waited for their little competition to be over.

"Times Up!" I shouted. Teddy came over and wrapped his arms around me.

"Mommy I just wanted to say how much I love you and how much you mean to me." He droaned on with a gleam of mischief in his eyes.

"Nah bruh aint no cheating cause she gave birth to you. Back in your seat." Luke told him.

"Weirdos."

"Present me your cakes." I exclaimed. They all brought their cakes in front of me with their plates. I participated in the dutiful task of eating pieces of their cakes and judging their presentation.

"And the winner is.... Luke!" I shouted. As if anyone else was going to win. Everyone groaned but went back to eating cake.

We ended up watching movies for the rest of the night. I decided to sleep on this oversized chair that was incredibly comfortable.

"Moms." Teddy said just when I was about to fall asleep.

"Yeah Babes?" I asked. He just crawled onto the chair with me and laid his head on my chest. I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed his head.

"You tired babes? Go to sleep." I told him. He mumbled some things before patting my stomach.

"Night siblings." He whispered.
