A Fucking Echo

Watching a basketball game is fun for some and torture for most. I was mostly stuffing my face with milkshakes and burgers while watching the game with half interest. Alec and the boys were super involved that I wasn't worried about having to deal with them. The game still had an hour but I couldn't stand being here.

"There's a modell's across the street. I wanna get some stuff for tomorrow." Mag asked me. I nodded and pointed to the things on the other side of the map.

"There's a krispy Kreme babe." I told him.

We kissed Alec goodbye and told him to meet us after the game.

"He can catch a ride with me." Teddy said from the other side of Alec.

"Take care of my man Teddy and Babe take care of my son. Remember we're leaving at 7 on the dot!" I told the boys with them vaguely nodding in my direction.

We drove over to the sporting goods store and I picked out some cute stuff. I was super thrilled with my decisions that I skipped over to Krispy Kreme and ordered 3 dozen donuts. One was for me and the others was for anyone else who wanted them.

"My dear are you ready to go home?" Magnus asked.

"Humph I'm not sure. I kind of like the snow." I told him. I looked outside the window and smiled as it rained down.

"We need sleep my dear. It's a 4 hour drive tomorrow." He said as he picked up the donuts and pulled out my chair.

"What a subtle way of telling me that your tired. Your such an old man babe." I joked.

"Well I am three hundred years older than you." He said. I jumped in the drivers and put on my playlist.

"go to sleep, I'll be okay driving." I told him. He kissed my head before making himself comfortable in the backseat.

"Wimp" I mumbled.

When your alarm goes off at 6 am your not always that happy, but for me, I was okay because I packed everything the night before and placed all of the equiptment in the truck. We were taking Alec's truck, Magnus' Range Rover and the other boys were taking two trucks. I threw on some black Nike Sweats, with a PINK long sleeve shirt, Uggs and a puffer jacket.I grabbed my purse and walked into the living room to see boys running around half naked and trying to fit their clothes in their backpacks. Rhett straight up collapsed on the kitchen island. I rolled my eyes at these teenage boys. Magnus and Alec were drinking coffee and eating donuts.

"How many boys are down for the count?" I asked.

"3 are barely moving." Mag said as he poked Rhett from the other side of the island.

"Wonderful."

"Who's cars are coming?" I asked Teddy from Alec's lap.

"You guys are taking the truck, I'm taking my jeep and Rhett's taking his truck." Teddy said from the stairs. He was nursing what looked like a hangover.

"Kay." I told him. I grabbed my blacket, my pillow and my pillow pet and cable chords. I set up the drivers seat for my comfort. It's a big chair and I'm a small pregnant person so I moved the seat forward, set up my pillow for my back and the blanket on the otherwise cold chair. I placed my pillow pet next to me and plugged in my charging cables. Everything was perfect for me.

"Children it's time to leave." Magnus announced.

"Coming" was shouted back. Everyone was scrambling to their cars while Magnus brought me my hot chocolate and my cupcakes. I convinced him this morning to run to the super market and get me some cupcakes.

"Let's get this road trip started." I announced as I locked the door.

The road trip was the easy part. After 2 hours we decided that we needed a stop. We stopped off in this little town in Vermont.

This little town was a catalogue town for some HGTV magazine. A large Christmas tree reflected the time of year and snow was everywhere. Everyone was happy, smiling and care free. I fell in love with the content atmosphere. I got out of the truck and grabbed Alec's jacket. We all got out and stretched before going into this cute little diner. We sat and ordered some lunch and I was happy with my Eggs benedict.

"You want some?" I asked alec. He nodded up from his coffee and held his mouth open.

"Lazy Butt." I growled as I fed him some of my eggs.

"It's good." Alec said as he moaned. Magnus' head shot up at the noise and he looked to see what was making Alec moan.

"Better than me?" Mag smirked. Teddy spit out his coffee before everyone laughed.
"Dude!" Teddy groaned at Magnus.

We ended up leaving this quaint town just when there was a massive rain storm and I was running out into the rain.

"I'm soaked!" Magnus complained. I peeled off my shirt and stayed in my undergarments.

Mag and Alec peeled off their clothes too and we turned up the heater.

"You look smoking babe." Alec said from the backseat. I bursted out laughing at him attempt to be like an American.

When we got to the hotel we needed to check in and we needed to get out of the car. Everything I owned was already wet and I was in need of warm clothing. I grabbed Magnus' coat and put it on.

"Hey I need that!" he complained.

"Your pregnant fiancé needs a warm coat to protect herself and your unborn children. I'm taking the damn jacket." I grumbled.

"Take Alec's" he groaned as he crossed his arms.

"I have these things called runes which restrict how much skin I can show." Alec sassed.

"But you can turn invisible."

"But I'll still freeze." He countered.

We ended up leaving the truck with me in Magnus' jacket and Mag going with his bare chest.

"Dude what happened?" Luke asked Mag as we walked into the lobby.

"She happened." He replied pointing to me. I patted his jacket to my skin whilst everyone laughed.

"Dude Whipped." Another boy echoed.

"Whipped." Another joined in.

"It's like a fucking echo."
