"Mom Luke and I are going to do some filming in time square." Teddy told me. I waved him bye. Em decided to go with them so I was by myself.

Tom locked up the bar and we were off. I slipped my arm into him and kens as we walked down the street.

"Where is the midnight bar crawl club headed to today?" Tom asked.

"No idea." I told him.

We headed down the street in a comfortable silence.

"Damn this is depressing." A voice said from behind us. We turned around to see ken's ex girlfriends sister who also happens to be tom's friend with benefit.

"Well damn." I said. I promptly turned around and pulled the guys with me.

"Their all poison. Every single piece of walking lady butt you think is attractive is dead to you now. It will only help you to save your soul." I told them. I had to avoid every bar, baby store, library or hipster coffee shop to avoid bad memories so we went to the empire state building.

"Can we jump?" Ken asked.

"No. I want you to take all of that depressed anger and throw it off of the building."

"And into the air that I breathe in everyday."

"The winds blowing toward Jersey." Ken pointed out. He made a sad puppy face before following my directions. Tom did the same with more sarcasm.

"Better?" I asked. They shrugged.

"Now comes the drinking." I told them.

I took them to our old picnic spot on top of a hill in central park. I poofed up a picnic and some beers and a picnic blanket. We sat on the blanket, Tom on his back and Ken's head in my lap.

"It's not that bad of a life." I told them.

"Your saying that cause you got out clean." They mumbled. I ran my hand through ken's hair and patted tom's torso.

"I'm saying it cause it's true."

...

We ended up back at Tom's bar where I lounged around before Teddy and Luke came stumbling in.

"Mom we have swim practice today!" Teddy shouted.

"Fuck!" I yelled back. I grabbed my things, hugged my boys and ran out the door.

We literally sped back to the house where those idiots were running up the stairs trying to find their swim shorts. I decided to run and change into a a pair of nike leggings, a sports bra and a jacket of Teddy's. It says Riley on the back but that's okay. I threw my hair into a high bun and grabbed some shoes before grabbing the keys to my Mercedes and a bottle of gatorade.

"Boys come on!" I shouted.

They came running up the stairs with their shorts on but they lacked a actual clothes. I grabbed them a pair of warm up pants with their team hoodies.

"Your wearing my jacket?" Teddy asked.

"Yeah?" I asked walking out the door.

"It's just you never recognized the riley." He told me. I shrugged and started the engine.

They arrived at the training pool late but ran in and almost fell. Everyone was in the pool and their coach glared at them before they got their asses in the pool.

"Riley, Jennings you're staying late!" Coach Mark shouted.

"Yes Sir."

"And what the hell are on your arms?" He shouted.

"Tattoos?" Luke asked.

"10 laps!" he shouted at them.

"Sorry Mark I'm raising idiots." I told him.

"Valentina you know they have to been here by 2. It's almost 3."

"They didn't tell me they had practice today." I said. He pointed to the ground next to his coaching station where I usually sit and stretch.

"Need me to record times?" I asked.

"Yep." He said handing me his action pad.

I got to go and record the times and finishes of the boys for their team.

"Ok athletes. There is a qualifying meet this week in Colorado at the training facility. This is a qualifying for the Olympics people! Who's going?" he asked.

Almost all of the boys raised their hands.

"Are you all booking your flights together or?" coach asked. I mulled it over in my head before raising my hands.

"Yes Valentina."

"I'll sponsor the flights for the boys and the coaches on my plane." I told them.

"That makes up for being late! Thank you Valentina. Everyone see her with your parents before you leave!" coach shouted. I sat on one of the raised platforms as I brought out my ipad and prepared to take all of the boy's info. They and they're parents huddled around me.

"Hello athletes and parents. I need some information to book the flight manifest for friday. I need everyones names of course as well as contact information. I'll be sending out information for all of the parents and I'll be handing out information packets at tommorrows practice. Any questions?"

"Yes. Sorry how are the boys getting there?" a parent asked.

"My jet." I told her.
