Surprise

A couple of hours before Teddy was set to race, Jake called a meeting in his suite. We all huddled around the living room to hear what he had to say.

"Teddy, I know you're going to demolish the course tonight. Which is why we're meeting Luke and your friends at Cesears palace after your race!" he announced. I looked at him with the 'wtf' look.

"Did you consent to this?" Mag asked.

"Of course not." I seethed. The look on Teddy's face was priceless though. He was so excited.

"Your taking my sixteen year old son to Vegas and didn't think to ask me?" I grumbled as I hit him.

"Hey he's my kid too and Lucifer insisted.

"Oh my god no please." Magnus grumbled as he slung an arm around me.

"Not excited to see your 'father'?" Jake sassed. Alec came over and slapped that sly look off Jake's face.

"Don't make me kill you." Jake sassed. I rolled my eyes at the two bickering and laid on Izzy.

"We gonna party it up like the last time we were in vegas?" She asked me. I smiled at the fond memories.

"Holy shit we were wasted and I don't remember wearing much clothes that entire time." I smiled at the memory.

"That was the time I had to rescue your butts from the top of the hotel did I not?" Jake asked.

"Bug off. You ruined our fun."

"Let's keep our clothes on this trip okay?" Alec asked us with a serious look.

"No promises." Magnus answered as we all broke out laughing.

"We're heading to vegas tonight so you guys can get your clothes there."

Vegas is an all around amazing experience. Finding yourself in vegas with people you love is even better. We got to the hotel at midnight and I noticed that there was a Lush in the store front lobby. Mag and I made Alec take our things to the room as we shopped around Lush.

"Oh my god look at these bath bombs." I told Mag. I picked out my favorite four and some other products before having Magnus carry me to the penthouse.

"Your leaving?" Mag asked as we saw Alec getting into a pair of trousers.

"Izzy wants to meet up for dinner and talk about family stuff I think. I'll see you guys in like two hours." He said as he gave us kisses and walked out the door.

"He's being social?" I asked.

"I guess it's something in the vegas air." Mag asked. I walked around the penthouse to find that the tub was massive and it was in front of a wall that overlooked the strip and turned into a tv. I grabbed the bath bombs and filled the tub. I stripped and turned to the movie section and watched finding dory.

"Your taking a bath without me?" Mag asked. He asked while he took off his shirt.

"I'm throwing some bathbombs into the tub and turning on finding dory." I told him as I stepped into the tub.

"So is that in invitation to join?"he asked cheekily.

"I'm guessing that you getting into the tub means you took it as a invitation."

We ended up watching the entire finding dory movie in the tub. By the time we got out we just went straight to bed. It was only like 1 am but I wanted to do some shopping early in the morning. Alec came stumbling in some time around 3 am and cuddled the two of us like a small child.

When 8 am came around, I got up and dressed into a pair of suede shorts with a striped around the shoulder top. I went and met with Izzy at breakfast as Magnus cared for Alec's hang over.

"Hey, have you heard about Teddy?" She asked me. I looked up concerned.

"What do you mean? Isn't he asleep?" I asked.

"No. Last thing I heard is that he and some of his friends were partying on the strip and early this morning a fight broke out. Some cop shot a guy and now there's a huge riot in downtown." She said as she pointed to a TV that had the news.

"Why does that concern teddy?" I asked.
"His friends brother was the one shot. He's down there rioting with his friends." She told me.

"What?" I screamed. I grabbed my phone to call Teddy but he wasn't answering. I was frantically watching the news and saw that police in riot gear were ushering protesters.

"I need Alec and Jake!" I yelled at her.

"I'll bring Jake to your room." She said as she ran in the opposite direction.

I ran up to the room in tears as I pounded on the door because I couldn't find my room key.

"Hey what's wrong?" Mag asked as he opened the door. I rushed pass him and turned on the tv in the bedroom.

"You see the protesters?" I asked them.

"Yeah?"

"Teddy's in there." I cried out. Alec held his head in his hands as he stood up and grabbed his stele. He summoned his arrows and started the suit up. Izzy and Jake came in with their full suits. I threw on a pair of black jeans with a black long sleeve shirt and my gun holster. I slipped my boots on and joined the rest of the group.

"This is simple. We go and get him and his friends without using our weapons. The first thing that the police are going to see is armed people in black." Jake explained.

We took a SUV into downtown. We got stopped about a mile from where the riot was.

"Magnus stay here with Vale." Jake said. I shook my head in protest.

"No! He's my son I'm gonna drag him by his ear out of there or so help me god." I told them as I got out and ran toward the riot.

"Damn it Vale" Alec yelled.

Izzy and I ran toward the riot but were stopped by the police.

"You can't go through there!" he yelled.

"Please my idiot son and his friends are there fighting a fight they have no right to be fighting for. I need them out now." I explained with tears flowing down my face. I could see the decision ranking in his mind before he ushered us through.

"Which ones?" he asked. I pointed toward Teddy and his friends who were yelling.

"Those three idiots over there." I said. 3 cops came in tried to make a hole for them to snatch Teddy but the rioters were taking it as police brutality.

"Oh hell no!" I yelled as Teddy resisted the cops. I grabbed one of the cops guns and aimed it in the direction of Teddy and his friends.

"Theodore Riley, get your ass over here right now!" I yelled he still didn't seem to notice so I shot a round into the air and people started ducking. I grabbed the riot speaker and lifted it to my lips.

"Theodore Riley, get your ass over here right now or else I'm going to shoot you myself." I yelled. Some of the rioting slowed.

"Mom?" Teddy yelled back. Izzy came over and grabbed him and his friends out of the crowd. I grabbed pair of cuffs and cuffed all of those assholes.

"God damn it Teddy!" Izzy yelled at him. Jake came over and grabbed his friends as Alec came and grabbed Teddy.

"Are you mad?" I yelled at my son.

"No Mom! They shot Marcus' brother!" he yelled back.

"And this is not your fight! Your not a mundane Teddy! You had no right to get involved. Guess what? His brother was shot in the leg and he's fine you idiot. You don't think with your head, you think with your fists! Your on the next flight home Theodore! I can't believe that you did that!" I yelled at him. Suddenly some one swooped in and picked up teddy and threw him into jake's direction. I looked up and saw that it was a man who swooped in. Suddenly we were all ushered into the SUV that were waiting. Teddy and his friends were in another vehicle that Jake was driving. I noticed at first that the man who swooped in and grabbed Teddy was in fact there and so was Lucifer.

"Lucifer?" I asked shocked.

"Hello my dear. How have you three been?" he asked.

"Better. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Remember when I said that I was giving you a protector for your daughter?" he said.

"Yes." Alec replied.

"Well I'm giving you a protector for your daughters." He concluded.

"Daughters?" Magnus clarified.

"Yes your carrying triplets."
