This sign has many contradictions. Libras like people but hate crowds. They are very active, but they go through phases of complete lethargy. While they are talkative, they are also very good listeners.

Affectionate, Libras prefer companionship to solitude. Lovers of beauty, peace and harmony, to them marriage is a more natural state than remaining single. They are very good at bringing people together, and they know how to create interesting social mixers. Tactful and diplomatic, they are also charming, even-tempered, and attractive. Anger and impatience distress them, so do loud noises and clashing colors. A slightly tilted framed photograph could upset their senses of order. Their innate respect for culture, art and education draws them to beautifully illustrated books and objects that are pleasing to the senses. Fond of ease and comfort, they relish in creating elegant atmospheres.

Justice is paramount to them and they will do anything that's fair. But because of their ability to see both sides of an issue, they often find it difficult to make decisions. Libras are highly objective and they analyze every situation rationally. Their intense distaste in hurting anyone can lead them at times to side with people of completely opposing views. While they are weighing the pros and the cons, they cannot be rushed. It is at their own pace, through the seemingly endless comparison of one thing to another, that they reach that elusive point of balance where alI falls magically into place. Soft music, pastel colors, and gentle words are soothing to their soul, which is forever in search of peace.
