chapter 14 {revised}

one week later

Daniel's pov-

i growled at the pack member and he lowered his head in submission with a whimper before i turned away signaling that he could go and i heard him scabber away through the door that didn't close after him i growled out angered

"shut the damn door" i yelled out

turning only to be met with the sight of my sister and as always her arms crossed over her chest and she looked angery.

"don't talk to your pack like that" she hissed and i snarled baring my teeth irritated and already in a really bad mood

"i'll talk to them however i want" i growled walking closer to her she didn't back down which made my wolf angier

"pack members are leaving because of you" i snarled louder trying to make her stop "how many was it that you almost killed this week?" she continued "and when was the last time you slept properly?, and don't tell me yesterday because napping on your desk does not count as sleep"

i said nothing for once she was right i haven't seen Nova properly for a while catching glimpses of her every now and again and when i do get to speak to her she bows her head and nods it took everything in me not to pick her up and lock her in our room then never let her out again. i turned away from her

"i have been sleeping" i growled and could imagine her shaking her head at my back

"yeah sure explain the bags under your eyes Daniel, why aren't you sleeping? and i haven't seen you eat either is this because of no----?"

i turned to her so fast i almost got whiplash and growled so loudly my vision faded from the strain as my wolf tried to take over

"don't brin---"

"dammit Daniel" she yelled her eyes darkened "if it's hurting this much go apologize to her step down off you big Alpha chair and try to make it up to her it's been a week for crying out loud"

i snarled again this being the only thing i could do as everything else was frozen with anger

"it's not that easy, you don't kn---"

"i don't need  to know what it feels like" she yelled at the top of her lungs causing me to jump and step back "i've seen it i've spent most of this week with your mate what mind you hasn't eaten nor slept this entire week she misses you and it's clear that you miss her"

i turned away from her looking to the floor balling my hands into tight fists my anger forgotten

"she's scared of me though" i whispered feeling my wolf take over and i let him "i hurt mate, mate scared of i, mate don't trust i anymore, no love from mate"

"Kolbie" she sighed "give her a reason to trust you again"

my wolf faded into my mind slowly allowing me to take control again as i looked up at my sister only to find that she was once again...
