chapter 28

"and then there's a meeting with the Elder wolves" i told Kyle as i placed my two bags by the door "tell him i'm ... ahhh..."

"indisposed?" he offered and i nodded looking at my watch i turned to the stairs

"Nova?" i yelled out i heard her yell a 'yes' back "hurry up sweet heart we're going to be late" i heard her rush down stairs her bag banging down the steps in her excitement she forgot to pick it up

as soon as i had told her where we were going and how we were getting there she was bursting with so much excitement that i decided to go a few days earlier three days of rest from pack work with just the two of us our rooms at the hotel wouldn't be ready so we would stay at a villa near on my private beach (A/N or a beach house god knows where) 

she was standing in front of me a large beaming smile on her face and i chuckled brushing loose strands of hair from in front of her face placing them behind her ear

"i see you're ready then?" she nodded so fast i feared she would get whip lash i motioned outside "i'll meet you in the car little one" i blinked and she was gone

i looked to the pack members who had gathered in the foyer as i met their eyes they bowed their heads i looked to Kyle

"are you sure you're going to be alright?" i heard a huff and and i knew only two people to do that in my presence as i was suddenly being pushed slowly out the door

"yes Alpha" came the taunting words of my sister "we'll be fine go spend some time with your mate" and with that the door was slammed closed i moved to the car my bags already in the trunk

Nova already in the passenger seat her legs swinging back and forth a large smile on her face as i slid in the drivers seat i went to start the car and frowned and her smile dropped i turned to her

"seat belt" i said and as if a reflex in was in why do i have to always remind her?

a six hour plane ride and two hours in the care later we arrived at our destination the sun was still in the sky and we were both extremely jet lagged Nova's head had lulled over in the drive her so she was resting against the window

i shook her gently and she whined at me as i did it a little harder her eyes opened

"we're here" i said

she looked at me through half closed eyes the suddenly widened as she threw herself forwards her seat belt restraining her as she stared wide eyes at the house we would be staying in for the rest of the week, until of course we had to move to the hotel

i only blinked twice before her seat belt was off and she was out of the car pulling her long hair back away from her eyes i followed soon after wrapping my arm around her waist her head rested on my shoulder as she looked up at me and me down to her her eyes were bright and it wasn't long before she had retrieved her backs and had raced in through the open door

Nova's pov-

in five minutes i had explored almost all of the house it was only one single story but i didn't care it was new and i was curious so curious in fact i bet the pack could feel it through the link

"slow down Nova, if you move to fast you could slip" i shrugged off his warning and kept at my speed

i was lifted off the ground and over a strong shoulder given a view that had Kieara purring i growled 

"put. me. down." i yelled out as we walked down a hallways i haven't been down yet i growled and he chuckled

he opened a door to a room that spelt faintly of him and a few seconds more i was dropped down onto something soft before a large body laid over mine and not only holding me down but squishing every bone in my body

my fists came down and assaulted his lower back her chuckled his turned stomach vibrated against mine my lungs were beginning to hurt i whined and he immediately rolled off only to be laying on my legs i huffed and he chuckled once more

its going to be a very long weekend
