Nova's pov-

i moved away from him off the bed and across the room a short cry of pain left him as his heat came back but at that moment all i could feel was hurt and i left the room with him shouting me name as i retreated down the hall my wolf whimpered, he might as well have called me useless i blinked back tears as i made my way to the elevator

i pressed the highest button i could reach

the one that would lead me to the pool

i sighed leaning back against the wall no one else was in the lift other then me and it was like that until i got to my destination quickly rubbing my eyes and swiping tears away from my face i walked out the smell of chlorine assaulted my sensitive nose and i grimaced

there wasn't many people and if they were people they were mainly human kids

i walked forwards intent on the edge of the pool they gave me strange looks as i sat down at the edge of the pool pulling my shoes off to dip my feet in kicking water around with a small smile one that disappeared as thoughts of Daniel came to my mind i felt tears come to my face and longing settled in my chest

"you must be pretty strange to be wearing those to the pool" his voice made me jump and i turned my attention too him

his eyes widened slightly as he cracked a smile dimples appearing on his tanned cheeks his short dirty blond hair was wet some strands stuck to his face he looked at me with cheerful green eyes but i felt anything like that at the moment

i guess you could say that i told him looking back to the unnatural water splashing my feet back and forth my red sun dress pulled above my knees

i felt a body next to mine as well as tanned legs i sighed looking to him and frowning he was looking at me

"what do you want?" i asked but he was still all smiles

"i want to know what a pretty girl like you is doing out here all alone"

"why would i tell someone i don't know that?"

he chuckled "too true" he turned his body to me sticking out his hand out towards me "Theo Zanders" i hesitantly grabbed his hand

"Nova Flo---- Shard Nova Shard" i shook it and he hissed i quickly pulling my hand away

"owchies what a grip" he chuckled

"he's human!" Kieara hissed in my head "mate won't like this!" i blocked her out putting all my attention back on Theo

"so then new friend?" he started his smile dropping and face turning concerned "what has made you so sad"

i shrugged remembering his words too me and forced back tears i know he didn't mean it like that but i couldn't help but take it like that

"family problems"

"oh" he said turning back to the water his legs kicking back and forth and i did the same we spent a few seconds in silence until he once again turned to me "let's do something fun!" he exclaimed

"like what?"

"you'll see" he said standing up and i did too
