chapter ten {revised}

Novas pov-

it was late in the  afternoon the next day that Daniel and i sat down together but this wasn't play time he had worry lines on his forehead this was serious

"who are you Nova?" he asked

i kicked my legs taking a deep breath in through my nose and not meeting his gaze as i spoke

"I'm the only daughter and child of Alpha Florence" I trembled out remembering the things he use to do to me as he tried to make me a better leader and stronger Alpha

"I  thought you had a brother?" Daniel asked i nodded

"but he's not my real brother he's adopted" I said quietly

reaching out for Daniel who looked at me softly before picking me up and bringing me towards him i sat in his lap

"so he want's you back so his pack can continue" i gave him a confused look "you have Alpha blood" he cooed "your brother doesn't"

i was quiet for a moment letting his words sink in and i felt my face pale and i gripped Daniel's shirt

"please don't let him take me" i begged quietly as i trembled

he let out a growl pulling me closer

"no ones taking you anywhere the only place you belong is by my side"

and at that i smiled

i sat in the lounge room staring at the tv that played one of my favorite shows, the power puff girls, my giggles could be heard all across the pack house and i was having the best thirty minutes of my life until i heard something shatter loudly upstairs followed by loud growls and snarls

i froze on the floor completely still i heard foot steps towards me i turned my head to see Amy who looked around worriedly as one of the pack members came rushing down stairs

"Alpha female" he said in a hurry "the Alphas are going crazy" her frown line deepened and i was up

"Nova" she warned me "stay down here" i paused

she just used her Alpha tone on me but i shook her command off walking up to her i shook my head yelping as i heard another shatter that sounded like a window Amy looked to me then to upstairs and sighed angrily

"you two are perfect for each other" she mumbled before racing up stairs

i followed as fast as i could. the noise was coming coming from Daniel's office i heard a cry of pain and let out a small whine as Amy pushed the door open and what awaited me was something i wish ii could unseen.

Daniel and his father were rolling across the ground choking punching each other Amy and i let out cries of alarm causing both men to stop soft looks coming to their eyes that were black and bloodied

i whimpered and Daniel's grip weakened on his father both their eyes were black their wolves in control his fathers wolf sensing his opponents weakness smashed his fist into his jaw which from one thing to another led Daniel to be holding him by the scruff i couldn't take it anymore

"Daniel please stop" i cried out

he paused his fist millimeters from his fathers face he growled throwing him to the ground his mate all over him he brushed her away angrily i saw the pained look in her eyes but she also brushed it away

"it seems we are all going to that ball" Daniel mumbled walking past me anger in every step that he took

i made a move to go after him the need to comfort him was stronger then anything i had ever felt in my life but i felt a grip on my arm and i looked back to see Daniel's mother and the past Luna

"let him go sweety he just needs some time to cool down"

after a few minutes of deciding i nodded and she let me go she bobbed down string me in the eyes her silver iris looked deep into mine with a look only a Luna could have, she was the real definition of the mother of the pack, she brushed some of my hair away from my face smiling a smile that was contagious i felt her mate storm past us but didn't watch him leave, his eyes would only be filled with hate and that was something i didn't need to see

"are you hungry sweet heart" she cooed

i shook my head mesmerized by the women in front of me
