i'm sorry guys but

it's that time of year i bet we all dread

school

and it's back at full force for another

10 weeks was it

so i'm sorry updates will be slower

lets bring on the Daniel

Daniel's pov-

i sighed to myself i rubbed her back as her body vibrated against mine i could practically feel her anger radiating off of her in waves

the meeting had since been stopped hours ago and we were currently in our assigned suit i barely had time to take in the master bedrooms design as i rushed to calm Nova

i had been pacing for the past hour rocking her in my arms though my wolf and i are glad the burning affect of our heat was numbed by the contact we had with our mate we both remained worried as her eyes stayed dark a distant look in her eyes

defeated i laid her on the bed staring down at her picking my brain for the name of her wolf

"Cara"

"Kia"

"Katara"

"Kieana"

"Kieara, you idiot" my wolf growled at me

i leaned over my small mate who still hadn't moved her body shook violently next to me and if i hadn't of known better i would have thought she was having a fit

"Kieara?" i called my hand caressing her face gently

there were a few seconds where i had no response and i feared that we both got her name wrong until her eyes shifted to mine they softened slightly

"let up" i whispered "you're hurting Nova"

she blinked a few times before her body relaxed and her eyes changed color and i sighed relived i pressed a soft kiss to her forehead

"i think you may have over reacted just a little" i said against her hair as i moved to lay beside her
watching worried once more as her eyes darkened and her lips curled up into a snarl

"they shouldn't have shown disrespect" she practically growled i pushed my body against hers calming her slightly she relaxed eyes returning back to normal "i agree" she said again "they should have respected us"

i huffed angered at her "you could have got someone killed Nova" i told her hoisting my head up on my elbow

she crossed her arms looking up at me with  little hint of anger that had my hyper aware wolf whimpering

"i didn't know what i was doing Daniel, i just felt like i needed to protect you an--"

"i don't need you to" i cut in with a little too much anger in my voice she flinched and hurt flashed through her eyes
