Nova's pov

"i can't believe you did that!" Amy said from beside me as my hair was brushed as gently as possible i winced when they pulled on a knot

"sorry Luna" the hairdresser said but i waved it off telling her it was okay

"i can't believe i did it either and the person i left him with it should be me not him"

"it's okay Nova mates need time away from each other sometimes ... just not too much time i don't think we could do our full day of girl stuff seeing as you put my brother on heat" i blushed at her words

"i didn't know that was going to happen" i mumbled feeling the small pinches of pain and i could only imagine what he was going through

"relax Nova their big boys they'll be fine"

Daniel's pov

i arched my back off the bed with a howl of pain as i felt her get further and further away from me and that wasn't even the worse part i felt an ice pack rest against my forehead

she left me with him

him being the damn Gamma

who

given the chance

is like a damn mother hen

and the fact that he swung the other way was slightly unnerving

she mind linked me and said they would be back in three hours and i found myself slowly counting down the time until she was back until the time she could make this go away but until then i had to but up with my gay Gamma

four hours later

Nova's pov

we pulled up to the pack house a giggling mess
bags of clothes in our arms as we walked up the steps the bags were quickly taken from our arms by Omegas who were more then happy to help it wasn't until i stepped fully into the pack house could i smell him and i had to stop and stand there my eyes cast down as i fought to control my wolf who only wanted to jump our mate

"Nova?" Amy questioned

"fine" i got out painfully "i'm fine it's just a"

"mate thing" she sighed "i know" she shoved me towards the stairs "go" she yelled draping her arms over her forehead dramatically "your mate needs you" i smiled

i love this women

upstairs i pushed our room door open only to be met with the withering form of Daniel coated in sweat i moved in further feeling guilt eat at my heart as i looked to the Gamma who had by now noticed me i let my wolf act on what should be done

"could you run a cold bath" i asked the Gamma, Chase, who nodded happily moving to the bathroom

i heard the water running as i climbed in next to my mate who whimpered the big bad Alpha whimpered as he pulled me closer

"it hurts" he whined trembling as i brushed my fingers through his sweat soaked hair scratching the back of his head

"i know" i whispered"i'm sorry for leaving you like this"

but he didn't seem to hear me as i wrapped my arms tighter around him as he pushed his face into my stomach gripping my shirt tightly as i heard the water cut off and Chase appear he nodded to me and i bowed my head in acknowledgement nothing a thank you he winked and left the room

i pressed both hands to the side of his face after a few seconds he leaned against my hands and sighed against my touch as he looked up to me his eyes watching me as i slid out of bed a whimper left his throat but disappeared as i grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom he followed me in a daze his eyes never leaving mine

he saw the bath and understanding flashed through his eyes as he wasted no time to climb into it clothes and all and sat down i followed sitting in his lap and we sat down together in the bath

my body trembling from the cold as i felt it quickly sap all the heat from my small body

"b-b-better?" i asked as he tugged me closer nodding as

his body heat seeped into my shivering form

if you're cold" he said quickly "we can--"

"no" i said pulling his hands around my waist as i rested my head on his shoulder "just hold me"

i don't know how long we were in there for but it ended up sapping all the warmth from either of us leaving us both chilled to the bone and we opted to get out of the bath he wrapped a fluffy towel around my before lifting me up and carrying me to bed with his he laid me down only to hover his dripping body over mine i giggle shoving his chest

"Daniel you're all wet" he chuckled with me

"that i am little on"

we smiled as each other until he winced falling to the side i was quick to hover over his large body before i laid across him chest to chest

"i'm sorry that you have to wait so long" i whispered pulling back to look at him "i'm sorry that i'm not ready to complete the mating process" he looked up at me and managed a weak smile

"i don't care" he whispered quietly "if you're ready now or in another hundred years, i'm willing to wait as long as you want"

my heart fluttered at his words and i soon found my lips descending down on his
