chapter six {revised}

Nova's pov-

my eyes fluttered open after what felt like a few moments of sleep well I can blame that on having slept out in the open, only being able to sleep for a few moments at a time is what I had grown use too. Daniel's arms were wrapped gently around my body he was still purring and it was a funny noise that caused a smile to come onto my face never once thinking that a wolf let alone a big scary alpha would purr. i moved out of his arms the need to explore got the better of me as I opened up the door sneaking out into the hallway and crept down stairs into the living room where my jaw dropped in awe as i wandered further into the living room why did they need a TV this big? i sat down on the carpet running my hand over it giggling as it tickled my palm it's been so long since i laughed since i have felt carpet since i had had a bath ... since i had felt safe i stood up moving further through the house

at some stage through my little adventure after walking into at least a hundred different rooms(give or take) i found myself outside standing little bit of a distance away from what i could only presume as the pack house that stood three stories from the ground. i couldn't see anyone else outside, was it really that early?. i wandered along the grounds in even more awe then when i was in the pack house. the pack grounds must go for miles i unknowingly took a few more steps away from the pack house how do they protect it all without any-- i was suddenly pulled off the ground and found myself dangling a good two feet from it i let out a quiet squeak of fear and i was dropped letting out a whimper i turned around onto my back to see three large scary men looking down at me

"what are you doing on pack grounds rouge?" he asked or more like ordered i gave him a puzzled look and he growled in annoyance

"what do you say boys," one of the men said "hows about we have some fun with her?"

my eyes widened as they nodded i jumped to my feet turning around and sprinting away but they were faster the first man who was talking came after me laughing like a mad man he grabbed the collar of my shirt lifting me off the ground halting to a standstill as the other men came up beside him he then roughly pushed me down to the ground his friends stood around us watching this violence unfold

"Runt" he growled lifting me up and shaking my little body back and forth

my only instinct was too growl i felt the need to protect my status as an alphas daughter though i knew all too well i was no longer the daughter but just a rejected alpha i growled louder when they didn't step down and it was a very deep one full of authority and power thanks to my alpha blood they all seemed to flinch away but the one in front of me pushed me down into the ground again smacking me across the face I yelped with surprise crying out in pain I gripped his hand as he lifted me off the ground

"what are you doing on our pack land?" I whimpered shaking with fear tears dribbled down my face "and why do you smell like our Alpha?" he growled

throwing me across the ground I hit it hard rolling a few meters I cried out curling into a small ball then I heard it the most terrifying and ferocious growl I had ever heard

Daniels pov-

I growled my wolf in control I never even remembered shifting as my large black wolf covered Nova's trembling body with mine my body shaking with anger how dare they touch my mate the wolves in front of me trembled

"leave" I barked in my Alpha tone and they were quick to bound away

a few moments passed calming myself down as I slowly pulled back looking at my little mate who trembled violently as she looked up at me her eyes widened but she relaxed

"Daniel?" she said tears running down her face

I wrapped her small body in mine making soft whimpering noises against her skin she could have gotten hurt she buried her face in my fur and we stayed like that until i felt her body grow limp as she fell asleep i gently laid her down unwrapping the shorts from around my front leg shifting and quickly pulling them on then i leaned over picking her small body up that curled towards mine with small whimpers i smiled as i started to carry her inside
