chapter 18

Daniel's pov-

i don't know why they made this whole event black and white themed this whole ball thing was a joke anyways it's main purpose was to help me and all the other alphas find their mates i didn't see why i had to take part and my parents didn't i also didn't see the point of it being held here i straightened my tie tucking it underneath my suit jacket only a few people and my parents knew i had a mate

there was a light knock on the door but i didn't need to see who it was the smell of fresh rain and apples flooded my senses here vanilla scent had faded days ago and i enjoyed the smell that she brought with her my beta Kyle was with her as she opened the door i turned to her and a smile lit up my face she word a beautiful dress that went just below her knees but it wasn't strapless only having the one shoulder strap in was purple one of her favorite colors now i knew why Amy wanted me to wear this tie which was a plain purple tar-pane (A/N if you know how to spell that tell me what i was referring to was like the checker board shirts you know) 

"your going to be late alpha" Kyle said with a smirk as he teased me

"i didn't take that long kyle" he chuckled

"i know but you are going to be late the party's already started"

i nodded feeling Novas hand in mine as we made our way down stairs

Nova's pov-

I didn't like females looking at him I didn't like them touching him nor did I like them talking too him watching them dance was enough skin contact I watched as one of the alphas daughters touched his arm pulling him to her whispering something i could clearly hear as 'mine' and I couldn't help the growl that slipped though my throat the entire hall turned deafly quiet I couldn't stop my growling until one of the alphas growled back marching over to me he raised his hand to his me

"disrespectful little bi--"

a loud authoritative growl stopped him in his tracks and his eyes widened in fear

"don't you dare touch her" Daniel snarled his eyes black

the alpha backed away as Daniel moved towards me kneeling down in front of me earning a few gasps he looked back at them

"as you were" he told them calmly and they were quick to continue what they were doing

his eyes shot back to me scanning my body for any injuries and when he saw none he sighed

Daniel's pov-

"what was that about Nova?" I asked she shrugged not meeting me gaze I raised an eye brow "are you jealous my little Luna?" I chided her cheeks flashed red as she shook her head

"i'm not jealous" i watched her eyes darken slightly "she was just touching what was mine"

I chuckled pulling her closer I kissed her forehead causing her eyes to turn back to normal and earning a few gasps as well I raised an eyebrow to see all the commotion had stopped again I smiled looking back at her

"how about I show every who I belong too?"

she blinked a few times squealing a little as I picked her up off the step throwing her over my shoulder

"Daniel!" she screeched earning a few more gasps and growls at her disrespect as i carried her up the stairs

"what are you doing?" she asked as i turned around i snarled down at them

"mine!" i growled
