Daniel's pov-

i swore angrily having a war with my wolf he marked her how dare he

i looked to my small mate who was by now sleeping soundly i had placed an ice pack against her swollen skin in the hopes of taking the swelling down and to relieve the burning sensation i knew she was going to have

it was a forced mark after all

they would both reject it

i knew they would reject it

"Amy" i said through the family link she didn't answer but i knew she was listening "i accidentally marked Nova"

"YOU WHAT" she shouted and i felt silent tears stream down my face

"i marked her" i whimpered out as i proceeded to tell her what had happened but she was deafly quiet and worry struck my chest "Amy"

"i have nothing to say to that" she mumbled through the link "you need to talk to someone who has a mate like..."

"mom" i mumbled out loud cutting the link

Nova's pov- (yaaaaaaaaay)

I was sore my head kinked to the side my neck burnt and I let out a whine at the pain

barely able to turn my head my eyes flitted across the room only to thankfully find that I was alone

i didn't want to face him yet

I was too tired to move and found myself slowly drifting off to sleep

i was warm

a little too warm

i shuffled around feeling a thick warm ... something, around my stomach i squirmed around slowly letting my eyes open much to my dismay i wanted them to stay shut and to feel like this forever but alas it could never be this way

my eyes opened fully only to be met with Daniel i felt confused something happened and i couldn't remember

we were balancing on the edge of the bed he was centimeters from falling over the edge

then i remembered i felt anger spike in my body as i untangle myself from his grip then with a hard shove pushed him over the edge and he landed with a satisfying smack he let out a yelp of surprise but was quick to his feet eyes surveying the room those same brown orbs landed on me he smiled coming towards me but i growled

"stay back" i snarled my words earned a whimper but i continued none the less "you marked me how could you"

"i know" he said quietly walking forwards but i growled stopping him "please ju---"

"i don't want to hear anything from you" i snarled "you..."

i stopped

"please hear me out?" he begged yet again between my silence

I kept quiet i wasn't going to jump the gun this time and watched as he pressed his face into the mattress pain was evident on his face as he hid it from my view his body shook and trembled as small sobs left his chest was he crying?

my heart ached as i felt his pain through the bond we now shared his sadness overwhelmed me and i found myself reaching out to him but i pulled my hand back quickly as his head rose

i placed the hand on my neck that had just now stopped burning and watched him he frowned

does it still hurt he asked and i shook my head

he looked surprised but sadness fought that back quickly

i didn't mean to mark you he whispered it just made me so angry you and that, that little ---

daniel i warned and he sighed

"i couldn't stand it nova you feeling happy with someone else, spending all that time with someone who wasn't me, and i just snapped, six hours was too long to spend away from you"

i smirked biting my lip to fight back a smile i knew the real reason why he marked me he was practically green already

he was jealous

Daniel the big bad Alpha was jealous of a human boy

his whining brought me back to the present i looked up to Daniel who was laying his head on the bed staring at me his eyes begging me to forgive him and i couldn't stay angry at him but i wasn't going to be nice

i looked off to the window that curtains were draw and the sun streamed in through the cracks i frowned looking to the clock which red that it was half past four i slept the whole day
and the meeting

"what happened in the meeting?" i asked

"the usual" he muttered sitting up "alpha Whane had to go back to his pack as well as Alpha and Luna Cartwell"

i growled silently at the names 'i remember them, disrespectful----'

"nova!" i jumped as i was saying we get to spend the next days in peace but seeing as you might want to back to the pack now i shook my head

"no Daniel, i want to spend as long as i can here"

"what about us" he whispered with another whine that made my heart contract

"us?" i mimicked

"you, me, us" he said quietly

"we're fine" he perked up "but we're definitely making a few ground rules"
