seven years later

nova's pov-

i ran through the forest my black hair whipping against my face as i ran insistent on getting away harsh growls filled the air around me and adrenaline pumped though my veins i zigzagged through trees disturbing my scent but he plowed right through them he knew my smell too well. i leaped over a log not landing the way i had wanted to as i fell hard to the ground spraining my ankle in the process i let out a yelp of pain that was cut off by the growling as my small body was smothered by a large black furred one i squirmed whining as the wolf turned around to me his silver eyes stared down at me with forced anger

"don't ever run away from me again" daniels voice growled through our mate bond and i snarled all the pain in my body gone

"i'm not going anywhere that he's there" i snarled my lips tilted up to reveal my fangs, kieara agreeing with me

in his wolf form he huffed shifting back to human form he laid over me completely naked and i fought the urge to look lower then his chest and from the smirk on his face he knew everything that i was thinking at that moment as he buried his head in my neck kissing his mark that laid in the crook

"i know you hate my father i hate him too, do this for my mother ... please?"

that was the reason i ran he was forcing me, as alpha, to go with his to visit his parents when he knew that the ground me and his 'father' walked on was as thick as thawed ice our wolves constantly fought and we could never find something to agree on

the bastard doesn't even take my luna status seriously

but i had to do this not just for daniel

but for his mom too

her husband might be a cold and strict man but she was a sweet women like a second mother to me

i nodded fine i'll go i pouted but i won't like it he pulled back and smiled pecking my pushed out lip before gently taking it between his teeth

you know how i feel about pouting nova he purred and i smiled cheekily though it dropped when i felt the dull thud of pain from my ankle i gripped his arm hissing in pain i watched as he winced as well looking to my ankle then without another word lifted me off the ground

first things first

no he didn't walk into the infirmary stark naked

i made him put clothes on

no she wolf was seeing my man in his birthday suit

second

i didn't break my ankle but i sprained it

but thanks to daniel it was healed in a matter of hours ad i was ready to walk again and go visit his parents which sadly

we did straight away

holding hands we moved to tasha and forrest her husband and ex-alpha-who-doesn't-like-me-very-much front door after having me gush over how beautiful their garden was there house was a more then modest size leaving little to the imagination of how many rooms were in there lets take a guess around... thirty maybe more

the door was thrown open before we were even halfway up the stairs and there stood the semi happy looking couple

tasha beamed at us hugging both us up closely while forrest just stared at our hands looking as iff he was ready to snap some ones neck, mainly mine

i shifted closer to daniel slightly unnerved by the large alpha in front of me, even in his old age he still manages to scare the crap out of me

daniel squeezed my hand tighter and i smiled a little as he followed after his mother who led us inside

dinner wasn't as smooth a i had liked it too be and, now that i think about it, i don't even who how we got into the topic of my role as luna but that seemed to spark some contraversy between forrest an i and it quickly turned into a growling fest

"you'll never make a good luna" he growled out to which i snarled

"you don't know what you talking about alpha"

"a runt like you who can't even shift will never make alpha female title nor luna"

i felt my wolf taking over and daniel grabbed my hand "calm down nova" his voice soothed

"oh yes" forrest mocked "calm down nova, be a good little pup and sit"

i felt something inside me snap as  i was pulled into my set and something snapped inside me like literlly snapped i let out a cry of pain and forrest sneered

"you don't deserve to be an alphas ma---"

"stop it right now" tasha snapped

forrest turned to her his hand striking the side of her face and she yelped tears brimming her eyes and forrest stood frozen his eyes widened

"ta--"

"i get out" she growled holding her cheek tears streamed down her face

he retreated back a step just as i felt something else break inside me daniel held me as forrest retreated out of the house his howls of pain could be heard moments later

"nova what's wrong?" daniel asked as i felt yet another crack and snap and he heard in to his eyes widened 

tasha gasped as she wiped her eyes "i thinks she's...."
