Chapter 8:Kuran

"Are you alright," a calm voice echoes through my head as he slowly walks toward me hiding behind the tree, I fall to the floor as he peeks around the tree."I'm sorry I couldn't get to you sooner." He said worried as he bent down with a kind smile trying to see if I was okay." N-No..I-It's alright...Thank You for saving me," I state looking up and smiling, trying to push his appearance aside and thank him politely. He suddenly grabs my arms and examines them closely as I blush at his caring touch and then pull my hands back."I-it's o-okay...its j-just bruised a little...I-it doesn't h-hurt r-really!" I try to lie to him so he doesn't touch me again but he grabs my hands again and studies them."hm? Yeah, whatever..." He pokes my bruise viciously and I pull back and wince in pain. He only smiles at me and laughs," I knew you were bluffing, there's no way that couldn't hurt." He stands up and reaches a hand toward me." My names Kuran." I smile, blushing slightly and take his hand as he pulls me and helps me stand." It's a pleasure to meet you," I say with a legit smile," My names Luna!" Kuran smiles slightly and as he gently grabs my hand leading me down the trail." I guess I have no choice but to take care of your wounds at my place...cause you were too weak to take care of yourself." He teases me but obviously wants to help me, so I guess I have no other choice but to follow along."I guess I made another friend on this trail," I think to myself as I laugh slightly and stare off."hey, so...where are we headed, Kuran?" I ask hoping that it's not somewhere extremely far. "Rokkira." He says calmly while still tugging easily at my hand as we walk." I was headed that way too, before that pig came after me." I said as I felt my spine shiver at the thought of that pig. "I see..." He said looking out into the sky. I get a bit agitated and embarrassed when I realize he's still holding my hand and pull it away." I'm not a child, you don't have to hold my hand y'know!" He laughs at me as we walk "okay,okay" I feel a warm hand on my head and my face gets red again,"there,there...its okay" he says jokingly as I grow furious "I will bite you!!" I say obviously joking but taking it into consideration as I push his hand away."fine, I'll leave you alone." He says seemingly upset and its silent for a few minuets."It's getting dark," I said worried."that's fine, well camp in this clearing right here." He points to a rather roomy flat section of ground next to a rock almost shaped like a cave that we could seek shelter under if it rained."really? We're gonna sleep out here?!" I say kinda frightened." What? Are you scared?" He says with a smirk," don't worry I'll protect you." He leads me to the flat area and he begins to gather stuff for a fire." Need any help?" I ask "nah, I got it...you look tiered though..you can fall asleep if you-" he noticed I had already drifted off while he was talking and smiled."Goodnight, Luna."
