Chapter 22: Scene in the darkness

          Kuran lost control of his fire and it came rushing toward him, I felt my body collapse onto the floor while everything went black, I could hear bits of my voice screaming and crying, but I didn't feel like I was making any noise.
Everything slowly went white and It was finally clear that I really was crying, what the he'll is happening?! I hear masters voice trying to calm me down as I am screaming, crying, kicking and over all I lost my mind," Kurans dead..." That's all I would say, then my mind finally fused back together but I continued to believe what happened in the darkness." He's dead, he's dead...I let Kuran die right in front of me!" Master was chanting something but I couldn't hear over my wretched memories and terrified screams." I-I...I COULDN'T PROTECT HIM! HES GONE, he's really..." I sit up and stop wailing, ignoring master who was trying to comfort me, I believed the lie before me that stood in the darkness and wasn't seeing the way I normally do. If I were okay I would have noticed Masters worried expression but I wasn't okay at all. Suddenly, I am strapped to the floor with glowing chains."LET ME GO! I DONT DESERVE TO LIVE IF I ONLY FAIL THE ONES I LOVE! IF I CANT PROTECT ANYONE, WHAT USE AM I TO THIS WORLD?!" I struggle to get out of the chains my mind filled with many overflowing emotions. And then everything fades and I find myself In a blank white space." What's going on?" I look around only to see nothing."WAKE UP LUNA!" An all too familiar voice calls out to me," KURAN? Is that you?! I-Is this heaven?! Where are you Kuran."
I begin searching around desperately searching for the source of the voice. Then I feel something cold spread through my whole body. And I wake up, drenched in cold water with tears dried on my cheeks. I look up and I see the same scene of master but this time I listen to his worried voice." LUNA, DONT LISTEN TO THE DARKNESS!" I sit there frozen, unable to move. Kuran rushes up to me with tears streaming down his face as master realizes I woke up and hugs me. Breaking me from my chains that were never really there, it was just the darkness over exaggerating the shock of seeing someone you love die. It was terrible." LUNA!" Kuran jumps in to embrace me with a huge smile and his tears "thus was the first time I had seen Kuran cry that much, what the hell just happend to me?" I am still dazed and confused but I snap out of it as I realize that Kuran didn't die and hug him back,  I thought I would shatter, our hug was so tight I thought we would shatter each other. Tears fall down my face as a smile spreads across all of our faces." Kuran, thank god! Your still alive!!" Kuran and Master give me an expression that told me they were completely lost." Of course I am, we were worried. You suddenly collapsed after I castes the spell finally and whenever we rushed to you would fight us away but you were in so much pain, I've never seen anyone in that much pain." Kurans seemed be remembering just what he saw and his eyes imitated mine when I was fooled by the scene I saw in the darkness." Luna, please...tell us exactly what happened." I nod to masters request and begin to speak.
