Chapter 13:Midnight Snack and a relaxing shower

I woke up and the room was dark,"I don't remember turning the light off," shrugging I step out of my room and look to the window, I realize it's night."Kuran didn't wake me up?" I whisper while continuing into the kitchen and I find a note on the counter.
Hey Luna,
I tried waking you up but you were so tiered you didn't budge. Your plates in the fridge, you can warm it up on the stove if your hungry.

I smile while reading the note and turn to the fridge finding a plate of some kind of pork, rice and some vegetables. Picking up the plate I turn to the stove with confusion," uh, soo..how do I-" I turn a dial and a blue fire lights and I smile feeling accomplished."yay, I did it!" I search for a pan and once I find one I start reheating the food. Setting my plate on the table and sitting in the chair I hear a yawn from the hallway and look up to see Brock."sorry, did I wake you?" I ask in a loud whisper."hm? No, I got up to get some water but, I'm glad you found the food I prepared." He says with a sleepy smile as he walks toward the kitchen."Thankyou!" I quietly state with a bit of excitement as I dig into the most delicious food I ever had and my face brightens due to the taste and I begin eating faster."thos ish swo gwood!!" I say happily with my mouth full, and I'm sure Brock couldn't understand me but he giggled at me then sat down next to me with a glass of water."glad you like it." He states with a smile then sips at his water as I begin finishing off the last pieces of vegetables."wow, you were hungry..." After I finish I look up at his surprised reaction I sit straight and am filled with embarrassment." S-sorry, it was just...the best food I've had." He looks at me and smiles again," Really? I'm glad you like my cooking...are you still hungry? I shake my head as I get up and rinse my plate." It was good, I'm gonna go back to sleep now." I yawn and wave at Brock before stepping into my room and curling up in my bed with a smile and so many happy thoughts as I fall asleep. I awoke to talking in the living room the next morning and pried myself from the comfy bed to start the day. As I step out if my room and tell the two who were sitting in the couch goodmorning. The men look at me with a wide, cheesey grin as Kuran is chewing on a toothpick. " well, Here's some clothes...and a bit of money. Go take a shower and please brush that crazy hair of yours." Dad hands me an outfit and a small coin pouch full of coins as him and Kuran make fun of my hair. Thanking them I head into the bathroom and find myself in a daze due to the relaxing temperature of the water." Are you okay in there, do you need help with something?" Kuran knocks on the door and snaps me out of my daze."hu- uh...no, I'm fine." I reply as I hear him laugh slightly and walk back to a conversation with dad. Rushing a little to rinse out my hair I finally step out of the shower and dry off. As I pick up the outfit in surprised how cute and colorful it was, it was a mixture of different blues and the skirt was white. I shrugged with a smile and step into my clothes twirling around excitedly in the mirror before bouncing out the door. "This is so cute dad!!" I say as Kuran sees me and blushes rather cutely And dad only smiles." Ha, thank Kuran for that!" He pats Kuran on the back cheerfully as his face turns a brighter shade of red," Kuran picked it out this morning, he was excited to see what you would think of it but it seems your just too beautiful for him to say anything, huh Kuran? Kuran then attempts to play it cool tho his face is still a cute shade of pink," yeah, sure...ha! You you adorable?" Dad laughs and pokes at Kuran"so you don't think she's beautiful you had to tell her she looked adorable...well at least your honest." Kuran gets fustrated as his face turns even redder than it had when I complimented his hair, and again he was in an almost speechless daze.  Me and dad laugh together Kuran seems to be trying to get his head straight." Thanks." I walk over to the dazed Kuran and can't help but stare at his cute expression. Looking at me Kiran finally decides to calm down and his face goes to a light shade of pink."w-well, I wasn't lying...it looks good on you." I hug Kuran who is still trying to recover his jumbled up emotions and smile." Well, I guess I'd better head out and show the world then, how much my family loves me." I smile at them both as I head toward the door." Come back at noon and I'll make us some lunch." Dad says with a smile and a wave as I nod and jump out the door. As the door closes I take a deep breath in and walk on toward the huge city towering before my eyes with gleaming eyes.
