Stepping into the house Kuran grabs my hands." While you were out I remembered your wrists are still bruised." I'm sorry." He looks at my purple wrists worriedly and forces me to sit on the couch."sorry, for being late for lunch. There was this girl who said she would help me get into a guild tonight..." I state aloud toward both of them while watching Kuran run around looking for medical stuff." Hm? That sounds nice...what guild ar-" I cut him off as Kuran walks in with some medicine and bandages." Most likely magic." I say with a smile as Kuran asks me to give him my wrist." Mage guild?...there's more guilds y'know, but whatever you wish...it's not bad...I was a part of the Mage guild." I listen to dad but wince slightly due to the medicine Kiran poured on my skin. "Really? That must be why you sell those items, huh?" I say feeling a bit stupid because I never realized that."yeah." Dad states with a smile as Kuran carefully wraps the bandages around my wrists. Looking down at Kurans cute focused expression I can't help but giggle, Kuran ignores it and once he finished warping me he looks up at me with another one of those breath-taking smiles." Would you like me to come with you tonight? I'm kinda worried...people can be backstabbing liars and I know your easily fooled." He looks at me with worried eyes but I only smirk at him." Aw, I'm not that bad at judging people...I mean I knew you were a good person from the start!" Kuran looks at me like I'm stupid," That's because I saved you from a pig that was slobbering all over your, easily cut skin." I can't think of anything else to say," I should be fine...Rose wouldn't hurt me like that...but, I'm sure she wouldn't mind u tagging along if you were quiet. That means be nice, no arguing or teasing!" He laughs and replies." Fine, fine....ill try...now go eat that lunch dad made before it gets too cold." I jump up with excitement at the thought of food and am overcome by the taste of dads cooking and stare off while munching on my food."it's so good.." Kuran and dad stare at me muttering and praising the food in my own little world and soon bust up laughing. Snapping out of my daydream from their laughter I quickly gobble up my food and rinse my plate."
Thanks daddy...ill be in my room!" I run off to my room remembering the books I saw in my bookshelf and examine them. One was a plain leather cover and the other had a creature ( I obviously haven't seen before)silhouette. I was intrigued by the blank one and opened it up and began to skim through it. Magic scriptures, banned spells, spell side effects and ancient spells that were thought to not have been real we're all inside of that book. I begin reading every word, drawn into the book I hear a knock on my door and shut it as the door opens." Oh- sorry...I'm not used to knocking." Kuran closes my door until I see just a slim part of him." No, it's okay come on in." I set the books beside me on the bed as Kuran walks in."I'm gonna come with you tomorrow...I don't care if I trouble your friend...I just want to protect you." My eyes widen but I block out my feelings and ignore the thought of wanting to be protected." Oh, your reading those dusty old books? The monster one should help you out a lot but, don't attempt any of those spells or spell circles before practicing with the guild for a while and...stay away from those banned spells please, there banned for a reason." I smile at him and flop back on my bed."what time is it?" "Oh, it's almost time to meet that girl...that's why I came in here." He laughs awkwardly." Well meet me in the living room when you get ready." I nod my head and start to gather my things as Kuran shuts the door and I hear his footsteps leave.
