Chapter 14: A guild?

I was stopped a few houses down by a merchant trying to sell me some apples but I wasn't sure if we needed any so I declined and walked a little further down. All I can see were merchant carts and people, lots of people. Pushing my way through the crowd I hear a girl around my age yelling at an old merchant lady."
I TOLD YOU, IM NOT PAYIN THAT MUCH FOR A STUPID BAG....can't you bring the price down just a little?"
The lady seemed worried by the glares of people and was trying to calm the girl down as I try to push my way through." I can't lower it anymore than I already have, I'm sorry." The woman states in a cowardly fashion as I grow close to the girl and once I get there she notices me and stops her reply."what." She glares at me rudely as I only smile " well, I was just wondering why this bag is of such importance to you but only at a low price?" The girl looks toward me with a bit of shock, she probably expected me to tell her to stop yelling
Or to just accept the woman's offer. Sighing rudely the girl replies" because I need one to pick plants, and all of them are just too expensive." I nod my head understandingly as she looks at me with confusion," How much is this bag your trying to buy?"' The merchant stares at me in awe of my ability to keep her from yelling as the girl replies," 50 coin." Pulling out my money I count my money revealing a stash of 100 coin I pull out half and push it toward the merchant and both of their jaws drop." Your gonna buy it for me?!" The girl sighs and shrugs, "'guess I couldn't have lowered it any less but I don't need someone to pay , for my things...thank you very much." She gives me a grateful smile but quickly wipes it away with a sarcastic tone and a smirk. She pays for the bag and returns my money," Thankyou!" I smile as she pours my 50 coin into the palm of my hand."hey, don't expect me to thank you for that...I might have been able to pry her out of a bit more coin." She smirks at me and continues" my names rose, I'm sorry that we had to meet at a such a moment" I smile and shake my head." No, it was okay to meet like this...My names Luna." She begins to walk off farther into the crowd of people as I follow behind her."yeah, not a bad name....I like it...so ,Luna. You don't seem like you know this area all too well...what brings ya here?" I am pushing my way through the people rushing past me as Rose effortlessly walks through them and she smirks again." Uh-...ow...well um...I-I wanna get stronger...I was told to come here." After enjoying me struggle through people for a while she pulls me into a corner and she sits down then motioning for me to do the same."oh, well....you came to the right place...this place is full of guilds and trainers." Sitting down beside Rose I tilt my head in confusion"guilds?" She looks at me with a surprised expression." Huh, I knew you weren't from around here but u never thought you'd be this clueless. A guild is based in different skills and fighting skills, someone trains you and helps you learn more about that class. There are all types of guilds, warrior, thief, Mage, tamer, healing and hunting are the skills I can name off hand but their are many more...just don't get lured into any guilds no one has heard of, it can be a trap." Rose looks all around while she's explaining but I still listen to her every word, and easily process it." Wow! That sounds so fun. A guild will make you stronger huh?" She looks at me then looks away." Yeah, and once you learned enough to protect a little more than yourself you can form a party and raid monsters for items and materials, the rare and strong monsters items can sell for a very high price but you can still make some coin off low level trash. But it's always easier to have guild members to watch your back. But be careful, people die." She looks a bit pained for a second but laughs it off and stands up." Have you decided what kind of guild you want to go into?" I nod my head with excitement and stand up " I would like to try magic! She smirks at me again." Would you like me to show you how to get in?" I start to nod my head but stop when I realized its past noon."huh? It's past noon already?!" I almost scream into the sky and begin to worry if they were waiting on me."wha- .....you have to be somewhere? Well....how about tonight we meet at the front gate. I'll help you start your first training session." She smiles an actually smile as I nod happily and run off, becoming better at pushing through the crowd. Panting I swing open the door." Hey, got caught up?"
