Chapter 18: Roomies

     Walking into the room I saw a young looking man( around 20) with a serious look on his face, staring at paper on his desk, he looked up upon our arrival but didn't smile." Hiyogi, I assume you will be training them?" Masters attitude turns serious so I try my best to look serious too." Yes, sir. Upon entering I knew they had great potential just as they walked in. I will train them good." Both of them seem a bit worried" That's great, they need great skill if they want to survive...Kuran...Luna..welcome to the Mage guild, do you have any rejections involving Hiyogi as your trainer." The headmasters face is now just serious but master seems really worried, and was struggling to keep a serious face." Of course not, headmaster..s-sir." I bow my head awkwardly while saying this." I got no problems with it." Kuran states calmly with his back pressed against the door, nonchalantly chewing on a toothpick." Okay than, come here...i will give you this symbol to represent the Mage guild." The headmaster stamped a crescent moon on my left thigh and one on Kurans right shoulder blade." Odd places for symbols but, I don't care..I'm finally part of a guild...and with Kuran, I'm so happy!" I smile at everyone in the room and their eyes widen due to my smile but they quickly ignore it and stay serious."thank you, sir... I will show them to their room then." And just like that we left with master down the long hallway again, this time we went a lot closer to the hangout but not quite. Stopping at a door around the middle of the vast hallway he opens the door and it leads to another hallway except this hallway was brighter and had plenty of magical decorations. The hallway was also much shorter." At the end of this hallway there is a hangout meant for only the people I train. All these doors are rooms, you two will share a room but don't worry they are huge, like a small house." He smiles at me and walks us to a door with a metal plate above the door that has the number 15 engraved on it. Master unlocks the door with his key but before he lets us in he throws us both a key with the number 15 engraved in the metal." WOW!" I stuffed the key in with Sara's whistle and jumped into the room." It's beautiful in here!" The room was as big as our kitchen and half our living room, there was a comfy looking bunk bed on one side and on the other there was a couch, a table and a tv. The room was a bit squished together but it was decorated nicely and still had a lot of room."you can rearrange it all you want, but tell me when your going out my office is just a few doors away, toward the hangout. You can come there anytime, I train with individual pairs most of the time but sometimes we do group activities. We go on hunts sometimes but only the skilled groups go." I will train you two tomorrow, meet me in my office at 9 AM. I will take you to one of the training grounds.
