On our way to Rokkira we had no more encounters with monsters, I was relived as I saw a clearing just a little ways from where we stood."Is that Rokkira?!" I say too excited to stand still and sprint towards the light." Yeah, that's Rokkira...why do you look so excited, I mean everyone's been here at least once!" I stand in awe, and towering above me is a city beautiful beyond compare and much more spacious than I imagined." This place puts mine and moms dreams combined, to shame!" I say with a smile as wide as I my mouth can stretch, and my blue-green eyes gleaming."hmpf. Whatever, it's not as big as the city in the desert." Kuran says with a shrug as he casually walks through the gigantic gate and I follow behind unable to contain my excitement. Right as I walk through that gate I look to the left and there stands a cart filled with gleaming and mysterious items, as I walk toward it Kuran tries to catch me but misses my cloak and I walk toward the merchant.", WHAT ARE THESE?!" I say ecstatically as I pick up a book with a fire emblem on it and skim through it."huh?" The merchant gives me a confused look," you never read a book?" I laugh slightly as I set down the book and caress beaded jewelry as if I've never seen it" I mean what-" Kuran interrupts me" Luna, you've never seen magic items?!" The man looked a little upset to see Kuran, and the fact he just stole a question that was asked to him. "Wha- really?! So these are magic items?!" I'm now so hyped I can't stop switching between examining the jewelry, questioning weird objects or skimming through what seemed to be spell books." Kuran, who is this?" The man from the cart asked with great suspicion.," that's my business not yours ,old man" Kuran said in a vicious yet teasing way. " like hell its not my business! Your living in my house!!" The man replied angrily" So, not like I come around enough to actually live in it." I soon become worried by the way they are yelling at each other and set the cute hairpin I wanted down and walked toward them." EXACTLY, what kind of a son are you?!" The man says harshly as I see Kurans face faded into sadness and love-hate. Resting my hand on Kurans arm he suddenly stops his come back remembering that I'm watching and stomps away leaving me with the man who's anger turned to a fake smile as he left." So, did you want to buy anything?!" He asks faking his cheerfulness and walking back to his station at the cart." Stop it." I say with a pained expression as he backs up from shock of my words." Stop smiling like that." I lose my mind and memories of my mothers cries flood back to me causing my tears to flood along with them. "Look." The man reaches toward me with a worried face, trying to comfort me but I only push it away."I-I know I don't know anything about you, I don't know anything about your family or your pain but-" im gasping for air as I cry and try to speak" Don't hide your pain, it's okay to cry but...never lose sight of the things you want to love and protect." I force a smile as tears swell up in the merchants eyes." And no matter how hard it is, tell them how much they mean to you and that you will always protect him, before it's to-" I felt arms reach me and pull me into a warm hug, and I heard wailing...he was crying. Smiling I hug him back and repeat," it's okay, you'll find your way to protect him. It's okay."
