Chapter 17: Rai and Master Hiyogi

As I opened the door the whole room looked at me in shock, some smiled some just glared. Feeling embarrassed I slowly walk into the vast room filled with people staring at me. Rose and Kuran step into the room after I take a few steps and I hear a cute voice from across the room." Rose-San!!!" A boy with light brown hair that sparkled in the sunlight that entered through the windows and brown eyes gleaming with excitement ran and jumped at Rose as she took a step to the side and dogged his hug." Hey, Rai..." I guessed that "Rai"was Roses brother as me and Kuran stared at them, dumbfounded by their differences." Hu-....ow" The boy ran into the wall and looked like he was about to cry after he fell backward and started rubbing the red spot on his forehead." Are you alright?!" I rush to him feeling pity." Why'd you do that Rose?" I look to Rose as she is glaring at the crowd of unfamiliar faces. Then I hear a a kind giggle and look back at the boy," She's as cold as ever..." Rai looks hurt and he suddenly starts crying like a child, he buries his face into my chest. I jump in shock as my fave turns red, Kuran noticed what he was doing and next thing I know Kuran is forced Rai away from me and was letting him cry on his chest."Why the hell is he hugging Rai?" Rose whispers to me as everyone is staring at us oddly."I don't know, he was hugging me and crying because you dogged him one second, the next he's in the arms of Kuran crying." Me and Rose stare at Kuran confused as Rai is struggling to get away from him but Kuran keeps him there with a straight face. " It's okay dude, no need to cry...I will hug you." Rose starts laughing uncontrollably and I try to stop my laughter but can't hold it in, the whole room is still fixated on our scene when a man that looked a few years older than us pulled Rai away from Kuran." Aren't you supposed to be practicing that spell circle I asked you to research?" Rai is shocked by the mans appearance, he bows his head in apology and runs off after waving goodbye to us with a bright smile. The man was older than us but was still really handsome. He had that determined spark in his dark green eyes and his black hair ended at his ears and spiked up in all directions. He studied me and Kuran closely and finally began to speaking" What are your names?" I smile and while blushing slightly tell him my name. Kuran nonchalantly gives the man his name while chewing on the toothpick and staring at me." And you two wish to join the Mage guild?" The man asks while accepting the glare from Rose." PUh- No sir, only I-" Kuran slaps his hand over my mouth." Yeah, why else would we be here." The man glares at Kuran but looks at me and smiles," well welcome, my name is Hiyogi I will be teaching you two then...Luna, you can call me master if you like but I would prefer if Kuran calls me Hiyogi or sir." I except without thinking as the two are now glaring at each other." Thank you for excepting us Master." Kuran blushes as he hears me say those words but turns to Hiyogi with a murderous expression." Oh, hehe it's no problem...now, you two follow me to the headmasters room, we need to introduce you and I have to tell him that you will be under my teachings. After that point I will be held responsible for your actions because I am your trainer...so try not to be too rash" Master leads us down a long dimly lit hallway with many doors, that was located to the left of the main hangout area we walked into." This place is huge, I'm so excited but...I really didn't expect Kuran to suddenly join with me, he's been acting strange ever since we went out." I feel Kurans arm brush against my shoulder as we walk(yes, I am pretty short XD) he's walking really close to me and he's not acting like usual, I begin to worry but push it aside as Master announces our names as he opens a door at the end of the hall." We've got two new members headmaster, Luna and Kuran."
