Happy Accident || Seamus Finnigan

You were walking to potion's class wile finishing of some homework when you bumped into someone, you dropped all your things and the other person dropped their's. 

"Oh my god, I am so sorry." You said, and knelt down to pick up your things. 

"No it was my fault I should have seen where I was going." He replied, also kneeling down help you. 

You noticed he had an Irish accent, as you lent down you nocked heads. You fell back clutching your head, "Ouch." You laughed. 

"Are you okay?" The person asked, you looked up to see a boy with green eyes, brown messy hair and a cheeky smile. 

"Yeah I'll live." You replied, smiling. 

He stuck out his hand and said, "I'm Seamus, Seamus Finnigan." You shook his hand, "And what might you name be?" He asked, smiling widely at you. 

"I'm (y/n) (y/l/n)." You replied, picking up your books. 

"So what house are you in?" He asked, picking up his own books. 

"I'm (y/h), I can see you're a Gryffindor" You replied, gesturing to his robes. 

"How come I have never seen you before?" He asked, holding out a hand to help you up, which you took. 

"I don't know, I don't usually spend much time with the rest of my house." You answered, starting to walk towards the dungeons. 

When you noticed the Seamus wasn't coming you stopped and turned around to fine him staring at you. "It's this way to potions." You said, nodding your head towards the dungeons. He quickly caught up to you. 

"Then where can I find you when you're not with your house?" He asked, smiling. 

"Probably at the quidditch pitch practising or in the library, I like it in there." You answered, as you approached the dungeons. 

"Oh yeah, aren't you the chaser who got knocked out by the crazy bludger last year?" Seamus asked. 

You laughed at the memory and answered, "Yes, that was me." He laughed, 

"You know I was the one who carried you to the hospital wing." He smiled. 

"Surprisingly, I didn't now" You replied, with a lot of sarcasm. 

You walked into the class room, "Sorry we're late professor I tripped and Seamus helped me, It's my fault that we are late." You said, before Seamus could say anything. 

"Well five points from (y/h) and a detention for you miss (y/l/n)." Snape hissed, "Both of you sit over there at the back so you don't distract anyone" He added, pointing to a table at the back of the classroom. 

You both walked to the back and set up your caldrons, "Why did you tell him that it was your fault?" Seamus asked in a hushed tone. 

"Because I didn't want you to get in trouble" You replied, shrugging off his question. 

Later on in the lesson you both reached for the knife at the same time, your hand ended up on top of his, you left it there for a bit to long then gave a nervous laugh and pulled it away, he seemed to be slightly disappointed at this but smiled none the less. 

You could feel a blush start in your cheeks, every so often you would look over at Seamus, to see he staring back at you, you made eye contact for a few seconds and then you would look away feeling the blush creeping into you cheeks again.

At the end of the lesson Seamus grabbed your arm and led you away from the crowd, "Umm (y/n) will you go on a date with me this weekend to Hogsmeade?" He asked nervously, nervously not meeting your eyes.

You smiled, "I would love that, but just to let you know I am the least romantic person in the world." You smiled, he laughed. 

"So am I." He replied. 

"Then we are perfect for each other." You said, kissing his cheek and skipping off to your next lesson.

Time skip

You woke up and got ready for today, you put on your favourite clothes and walked out of the dorm and into the common room where Seamus was already waiting for you.

"You look great." He said, looking you up and down. 

"Your not to shabby yourself." You teased. 

You walked down to Hogsmeade talking and laughing. You went into Zonkos joke shop, where you met some of your best mates Fred and George. Then you went to the three Broomsticks and got butterbeers, where you talked about your family's and friends and other stuff. 

Once you had finished you checked the time, you had been talking for three hours. "Its getting late we should go back to Hogwarts now." Seamus said, you nodded in agreement. It was a cold winter night, as we walked back up to the castle, you shivered, Seamus put his arm around you and rubbed your arms. 

Once you arrived back at Hogwarts, you turned to Seamus, "I had a great time, thank you for everything." You said, smiling. 

"Its quite alright I had a great time myself, so will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, nervously. 

You grinned and replied by saying, "I would love to." He smiled, lent down and you felt him press his lips onto yours, you kissed back. 

You pulled away grinning, "See you tomorrow" You grinned. 

"Yeah, see you tomorrow." He smiled, you kissed him one last time and walked back to your common room.
