Severus Snape (Young) X Eric

This is my seventh and final year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I'll be sad to leave but I'm excited to go out and travel to world. 

After getting dressed I walked out of the Hufflepuff common room and towards the Great Hall. Once I arrived at the Great Hall I walked over to the Hufflepuff table and sat next to my friend Rosanna.

"Morning" I said, grabbing a pice of toast and spreading butter over it. I glanced over at the Slytherin table where my best friend sat, Severus Snape. Rosanna nudged me.

"Hey, your staring at him, again" She said, nodding towards Severus, I felt my face flush with colour.  "No I'm not" I mumbled, looking down at my eggs and bacon.

"Sure you aren't" She answered. 

After we finished eating breakfast we walked to our first lesson of the day, Herbology. Herbology is one of my favourite lessons. 

Rosanna and I joined the rest of the Hufflepuffs and Slytherins walking towards the green houses.

"Good morning Severus" I said to him, he looked up from the book he was reading, "Oh, Morning Eric, how are you?" He answered.

"I'm grand thanks, how are you?" I replied, walking into the green house. Rosanna had joined our other Hufflepuff friends. "I'm okay thanks, do you want to be partners with me today?" He asked, I nodded, "Sure."

Once the lesson had ended Severus and I walked up to the castle talking and laughing. "I'll see you at lunch Severus" I said, about to walk off. "See you then Eric" He replied, walking off towards the dungeons. 

For the rest of the day I thought about Severus, not in a creepy way, just how different he is from the rest of his house, how kind he is towards me, how engrossed he is in potions and the dark arts and how handsome he is.

Before I new it it was lunch. I walked with Rosanna and the rest of my friends to lunch, Severus was sitting at the Slytherin table. I bid my friends good bye, walked over to Severus and sat opposite him.

We both ate lunch and talked about are mornings, sadly Severus and I only have a few lessons together.

After we had eaten lunch we walked out side to sit under the shade of a tree by the Black Lake. About five minutes later James Potter and his friends came up to us, usually James was nice, along with his other friends but today James was obviously in a bad mood.

"Hey look, its Snivellus!" James called, striding towards us. Severus ignored him and continued to read his book on the dark arts. "OI! Look at me when I'm talking" James almost shouted, he pulled out his wand and made Severus's book fly out of his hands, Severus looked up.

"What?" He asked, I could tell Severus was trying to be brave but I could see that he was actually scared. James laughed, "Trying to be brave?" He jeered, with another flick of his wand Severus was hanging upside down in mid-air.

"Okay James, don't you think thats a bit far. Lets go" Remus whispered, Sirius nodded in agree meant, "Yea, come one lets go, he isn't worth it" Sirius said, turning to leave. 

"He does deserve it" James said, making Severus wizz around. I felt anger boil up inside me, "Leave him alone, what did he do to you?" I asked, standing up. James let Severus drop to the floor.

"Come on Hufflepuff, why are you standing up for scum like him?" He asked, out of the corner of my eye I could see Severus getting to his feet. "Well he is my friend, so back off" I replied, bringing out my wand. James smirked.

"Make me" He said, shooting a hex at Severus. But before it could hit him I shot a protection charm around Severus. What I didn't expect was for the spell to rebound and hit me.

I flew through the air and landed in the grass, a few feet away from the others. "James!" Remus almost yelled. "You idiot" Remus continued. I heard them bickering as the ran away.

"Eric!" I heard Severus shout, he ran up to me and knelt down next to me, "Are you okay? Please say your alright" He said, panic filling his voice. I groaned, "My head" I moaned.

"Is anything else hurting?" He asked, looking me up and down to make sure he didn't miss anything. "I don't worry, I'm fine" I reassured him.

Then he did something I didn't expect him to, he kissed me. His soft lips pressing against mine, I was startled at first but then I kissed back. He quickly pulled away.

"I'm so sorry, you just scared me, I thought something really bad happened to you, I'm really so-" But I cut him off by pressing my lips to his.

I pulled away, "I'm just glad you'r okay" I said, he smiled and pulled me to my feet. 

"Good, now lets get you to the hospital wing"
