Privet Drive was the neatest looking street you had ever seen. Each house looked like it had been washed within an inch of its life, pretty much every house had the exact same car parked outside and the front gardens were neat and tidy, not even a single twig was out of place. It was all very artificial.

As you walked out of the alley way in which you had just apparated, you walked along Privet Drive, glancing at the numbers pressed onto the door's of each house. As you walked passed each house, the curtains were pulled apart slightly and a pair of eyes were exposed, watching you as you walked down the street; this made you incredibly uncomfortable and curious as to why the muggles living here were acting this way.

Your boyfriend, Harry, had asked you to come round his aunt and uncle's house for dinner; you found this odd since Harry hated the Dursley's but, you being a pureblooded witch were very curious about how muggles lived and what their house looked like. You weren't wearing anything special since you didn't like to dress up and Harry had told you not to.

It was a crisp later winter evening, the sun was almost gone, leaving the sky a dark blue, putting emphasis on the fluffy clouds dotted around the sky. After about five minutes of walking you arrived at number four Privet Drive. You walked through the insanely neat front garden and nocked on the front door.

Just before the door swung open, you noticed the curtains of the living room open slightly, revealing the face of a blonde, pudgy boy, who could only be Dudley, Harry's cousin. Your attention was captured by the door opening to reveal your messy haired boyfriend.

"Hello, love." Harry grinned, stepping towards you and wrapping his arms around your waist; you smiled back.

"Hello." You greeted him with a smile; Harry lent forward and pressed his slightly chapped lips against your own. You happily kissed back, missing the feeling of his lips on yours after a month of being apart.

"I've missed you like crazy." Harry smiled, reluctantly pulling his lips away from yours and pulling you into a tight hug, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck.

"I've missed you too." You laughed, returning the embrace and giving Harry a small squeeze.

"Come in." Harry smiled, pulling away and leading you into the house.

If you had thought that the outside of the house was clean, you had gotten a shock at just how clean the inside of the house was. Everything seemed to glean slightly with polish, the whole house smelled strongly of cleaning liquid, which made your nose tingle slightly.

At the other end of the hall way stood two people. One was a tall, boney blonde woman who had narrowed her eyes at you; this had to be Harry's aunt Petunia. Next to her stood her husband, Vernon; he was shorted than his wife and considerably wider, the thick moustache demanded attention. He had the same shape eyes as his son, small, round and almost pig like.

"Hello." You grinned at the pair of them, grinning widely at them. They did nothing but stair at you with blank expressions.

"Come on, I'll show you my room." Harry smiled, taking your hand and pulling you upstairs towards his bedroom.

"They seem charming." You scoffed; Harry chuckled in response as he opened the door to his room and walking into it.

Compared to the rest of the house, Harry's room seemed like the only normal room in the entire house. His walls were covered with pictures of our friends, some news paper clippings, pictures of his parents and Sirius. Books, clothing and a couple of sweet rappers littered the floor, Hedwig was perched onto of his wardrobe, she hooted when she saw me. Framed pictures, newspapers, rolls of parchment, books, quills and ink pots were thrown haphazardly onto his desk.
