"y/n why?" he asked as his eyes began to gloss over.

"don't you get it, soda? you're a lousy person and most importantly a horrible boyfriend!" you yelled like you meant it, even though it was only in the heat of the moment.

tears started slowly streaming down his face. "you don't mean that, y/n." his voice was raspy and his eyes were bloodshot. the guys all watched in shock from the couch.

"i can't do this anymore!" you cried, throwing your hands in the air.

"hey!" two-bit interrupted. "why are you mad at him? you're the one who locked lips with your ex right outside the dx!"

"because, soda.... he's cheating on me." you mumbled, glancing down towards your feet.

"n-no i'm not!" soda protested with clenching fists, voice cracking at the beginning of his sentence.

"yeah you are! dally said he saw you making out with some girl by the dingo a few days back!" you quickly shot back.

at that point sodapop turned towards dally with a hard glare before walking hurriedly out of the house. everyone turned to look at the troubled teen as well.

"why would you lie to y/n like that, just so she would do something to-" but you didn't hear the rest, you were already out the door running after your boyfriend.

you searched everywhere before finally deciding to check the lot. and there he was, head resting in his hands, sitting in the run down car seat that you had seen johnny in so many times before.

"i don't deserve her." he mumbled.

"yes, you do." you sighed. his head shot up and his bloodshot blue orbs met yours.

"y/n..." he shot up and ran over to you, wrapping his arms around your figure. "please hear me out." he begged.

i nodded. "go on."

he took a deep breath before continuing. "steve and i went to the dingo a few days ago because we weren't working at the dx. i never once kissed or even talked to a girl that night. you can even ask two-bit if you don't believe me and steve. he showed up a couple hours after we did." he explained. "and two is your buddy. he would never lie to ya."

"oh babe, i'm so sorry." you whispered into his chest as you hugged him back. "i'm so, so sorry."

"it's okay, y/n, really." he sighed.

"can we just forget about this?" you asked him pulling back from the hug.

"of course babe." he replied softly connecting your lips.
