I'm amazing.
Not really but you got annoyed didn't you? Words like "cocky" and "arrogant" arose before a single thought of "confident" or "happy." You back pedal in defense. But you support self love and confidence you insist. Do you? Or do you support the media's representation only when you feel like it? Confidence isn't always pretty people standing proud in front of a green screen. Confidence is a teenager with acne looking in a mirror and ignoring their stretch marks and posting a smiling selfie anyways. Confidence is enjoying yourself. Arrogance is thinking you are better than others. But we ignore that difference and force down anyone who feels good without even thinking about it. We're taught to encourage confidence with words and in actions hate ourselves.
I hate myself.
Chances are you responded more comfortably to that than "I am amazing". And doesn't that disgust you?
