We judge by numbers these days.

You may know a person's inner most thoughts but if you don't know their weight, heights, and age you still feel as though you don't know them at all.

Parents ask their children's new partners "how much do you make?" before they ask you, "do you laugh at my child's jokes?" and yet only one of these says something about their character.

A rich man may own the stars, but what good does that really do him? Does this concept of wealth fill the meaning we search for?

You may know their weight, their height, their age, their salary, and the number of friends they have, but if I know what makes them smile, I will still always feel closer.

You may own the stars, but I know what makes them shine so brilliantly. Numbers will never give you that.

Inspired by Le Petit Prince characters. I would like to do a chapter on the snake from the same story.
