Tyler grabbed his notebook and pen as he hurried out of his house to meet with his friends. Every month they all cleared a day to go to their secret hiding place. It was a little field right off an old backroad. The grass grew high and slanted trees were scattered all throughout the vast area. Wish flowers grew in abundance, and in a sense that gave Tyler hope.
If Tyler was having a bad month he'd sit under the tree he and his friends shared and write while barely listening to his friends talk cheerily about their lives.
He'd just let all his emotions spill out through his pen as the fine tip danced along a crumpled sheet of off white paper from his book; the ink staining the surface with his own creations.
As he walked the dirt trail kicking pebbles absentmindedly he let his thoughts wander to bright red hair and almond brown eyes.
Josh.
He smiles faintly as he thinks about the flowers Josh bought him the other day. Josh was such a sweet person, despite being a self made billionaire. He thought Tyler was fascinating, or so he says.
"Tyler!" a rather high pitched voice yells with a giggle causing Tyler to almost fall to the ground as he clutches his chest.
"Melanie, I've told you not to fricking do that. You scared the fricking heck out of me," Tyler scolds the small girl standing in the field holding a dandelion to her chest. She only giggles as her smile reveals her gapped front teeth; the sunlight casting down on her split dyed hair. The blonde hairs becoming almost white on the left side as the sunlight highlights it; and in contrast making the black side appear darker on the right. She was absolutely adorable.
"Sorry, Ty."
Tyler offers her a bright smile before take a seat next to Ashley on the grass and leaning against a tree trunk.
"What's up loser," the blue pixie haired girl snorts as she pokes at Tyler's pink dusted cheek. Tyler sighs in annoyance as he slaps the girl's hand away.
"First of all you're the loser, and second of all don't touch me," he glares at Ashley playfully trying to suppress the smile threatening to dance at his lips.
"How rude," she says crossing her arms and sticking her nose up in the air.
"This isn't Full House and you aren't Michelle," Brendon snorts as he takes a long drawl from his cigarette. He, Melanie, and Ashley know they aren't allowed to smoke marijuana around Tyler at all.
"Well you remind me of the annoying orange," Ashley shoots back as Dallon snorts and doubles over in laughter. A few stray strands of rich brown hair falling from its place on his head and his blue eyes becoming lighter as tears spill from them.
Brendon huffs in annoyance as both Ashley and his boyfriend continue to laugh hysterically. He runs his slender fingers through his hair in attempt to keep the hairs from falling into his eyes as he smashes the cigarette butt against the ground.
