Chapter 6: Stupid Goths

Iris pov

Once the bell rang I went over to Ryder who was talking to people almost as if it was normal

"We need to talk" I said before grabbing him sending a glare to Richard before leaving the classroom

"What are you doing here" I asked once we got out

"Retaking senior year" he announced

"Why, did my parents put you up to this" I asked annoyed

"No, I actually retook junior year last year so now I'm just taking senior" he declared

".....why didn't you tell me you went to phoenix" I exclaimed

"Cause its phoenix" he said like it was obvious. Most werewolves aren't really known for finishing school since we find out mates around the same age we're supposed to be focusing on school, so when a wolf signs up for classes its embarrassing

"I guess" I huffed

"But you may want to be careful with these teachers from now on" he announced

"I can take them" I protested

"Maybe but if word gets around that you finished one of them, the others will take notice. and or history teacher isn't the strongest one out there" he announced shocking me a bit since I didn't even let myself think about losing to any of those teachers.....but I guess I could at least treat them like they are

"Whatever I need to get to the next class anyway" I sighed not wanting to talk about the teachers anymore

"What is it" he asked curious as I got my schedule out to see and sighed

"French"

after that happened most of my classes ended up being just as boring as I remember school being, most of the teachers that were around did at least give me the proper respect of an alpha though so I guess it went pretty well all things considering although I couldn't have been more relived when lunch finally rolled over

"So how do you like it's far" Ryder asked just as we sat down at a table after we got our food

"Still sucks as much as I remember it" I sighed

"Come on its not that bad" he said before waving to a group that walked by and I saw that most of them were girls

"You realize that even in our world that's still technically against the law" I pointed out

"I haven't touched anyone here calm down, most of the girls are all over the alphas and that Easton guy" he waved off pointing to a table where he was surrounded by girls all laughing and living it up

"I swear if that guy comes near me I'm knocking him out" I deadpanned looking at the scene

"You're not the only one who wants a shot" Ryder said on board with my idea

"So....the other three you knew that they went to school here" I asked remembering how he said that he went here for junior year

"I did but because this place is free reign there wasn't much I could do about it, although did learn that two of them are in senior year like us while the other is in college" he informed me

"So they all just decided to come back to school at the same time we did" I said not liking the coincidence

"....n-no iris they only started school late....they're actually mean to be here, the oldest of them all is 19" he informed

"Are you telling me I'm going up against a bunch of brats" I asked annoyed

"Those brats aren't as weak as you think they are" he announced looking serious and I was going to say something when a girl sat down at our table
